Talking to Str Hannah after service about the song Auntie Jemimah! She said the Lord said to her sing the song "Auntie Jemimah!" And she took heed! The song was not rehearsed at all! The lyrics sung were spontaneous coming right there at the stage! And just to think that's my 1 year 1 month year old daughter's name! I was extremely blessed! May God continue to bless you Str Hannah, am amazed at the level of yielding to God's leadership!

@@vannesamatumbu1432 slip of the tongue. Auntie Jemimah was a black American Christian lady with a great testimony. After her son had fallen ill and was dying, she asked GOD to send her Elijah the prophet... GOD answered her prayer and sent forth William Marrion Branham(Malachi 4:5) who prayed for her son and he was healed. William Marrion Branham was in a plane flying over Memphis City but the plane had to take an emergency landing to which GOD then led HIS Elijah the prophet to Auntie Jemimah. She had identified a character in The BIBLE (the Shunamite woman or Zarephath if you like) that's the one sister Hannah was referring to in this beautiful song.

Jemimah (also written Jemima, Hebrew) was the oldest of the three beautiful daughters of Job, named in the Bible as given to him in the later part of his life, after God made Job prosperous again. Jemimah's sisters are named as Keziah and Keren-Happuch. Job's sons, in contrast, are not named. Jemimah, along with her sisters, was described as the most beautiful women in the land. Also, unusually and in common with her sisters, Jemimah was granted an inheritance by her father, with her brothers as might have been expected (Job 42:15). Apart from these brief references at the end of the Book of Job, Jemimah is not mentioned elsewhere in the Bible. The name Jemimah means "dove".

Elle a dit : “Je savais que vous viendriez!” Et j’ai dit : “Comment le savez-vous? Me connaissez-vous?” Il se meurt sur le lit, là, à l’intérieur.” 60-1208 - L'Âge de l'Église de Thyatire Rev. 158 And she said, “Well,” she said, “I’s was that kind of woman.” She said, “And the Lord give me a baby, and I told her…told Him that I’d raise him.” Said, “I’m a poor woman. I wash and work for the white folks for a living.” She said, “And He told me that He-He give me the baby, and I told Him I’d raise him.” Said, “I raised him the best I knowed how, but” said, “Parson, he got amongst the wrong company. He got a disease, and we didn’t know nothing about it.” Said, “He got it advanced stage. And he’s dying, in there on the bed.” Said, “He’s been unconscious now, two days.” Said, “The doctor-man come and said, ‘It done eat up his heart and so forth, got into his blood stream, so bad till it damaged him; so that the stuff that they give him wouldn’t help him now.’” And said, “He’s dying.” And said, “I just can’t stand to see him die, a sinner.” And said, “I prayed and I prayed,” said, “all night long I prayed.” Said, “He’s unconscious, he don’t know nothing.” Said, “He hadn’t for two days.” 159 Said, “I prayed, I said, ‘Lord, You give me that baby’ and said, ‘like You did the Shunammite woman.’ Said, ‘Where is Your Elijah? Where is…?’ Said, ‘Well, where-where is something to help me?’” 160 And said, “I fell asleep on my knees.” And she said, “The Lord spoke to me, in my dream,” and she said, “‘Go out and stand by the gate. And there’ll be a man coming down the street, wearing a little, tan hat and a dark suit.’ He said, ‘He’ll speak to you.’” 161 And she said, “I been standing here since ’fore daylight.” And her back was wet from dew. And she said, “And I seen you come in that tan hat,” she said, “but you was supposed to be packing a little satchel.” 162 I said, “I left it in the hotel.” See? And I said, “Your boy is sick?” Said, “He’s dying.” I said, “My name is Branham.” I said, “Do you know me?” She said, “No, sir, Parson Branham, I-I never heard of you.” I said, “I pray for the sick.” She wasn’t interested in that. She didn’t want her boy to die, a sinner. 163 I walked in; they had an old gate there with a plowpoint hanging on it to swing it back (maybe many of you Northerners wouldn’t know what it is), but, to keep the gate closed. And I walked in the house, in a little, bitty, old, two-room (looked like a little…what we call a little “shotgun house”) like, setting there; there’s a room here, and that’s the living room, bedroom, and all together; and the kitchen back there. When I walked in…It was a little whitewashed place, and nice, stripped down on the sides, and clapboard. So then…No, I believe she had tar paper on top of the roof, I remember seeing them big bubbles, like of the dew, hanging on top of it. 164 Then when I walked in, there was a sign hanging there across that door, said, “God Bless Our Home.” Right here in the corner was an old bedstead over here, and one over here. There laid a great big fellow (not a rug on the floor), great big boy, big fine-looking chap standing there. I guess he was a…weigh a hundred and seventy or eighty pound, close to six foot. And he had the blanket in his hand, going, “Uhm. Uhm.” 165 And she said, “Mama’s baby.” 166 And I thought, “‘Mama’s baby.’” And yet he had a-he had a social disease, syphilis. And he-he was dying. 167 And she kissed him on the forehead, and patted him like that, said, “Mama’s baby.” 168 Why, my heart just went big. I thought, “Yes, no matter how deep you are in sin, you’re still her baby.” Then I thought, “See, no matter how bad off he was, it’s still ‘Mama’s baby.’” And I thought, “God said, ‘A mother may forget her suckling babe; but I can never forget you, for your name’s engraved in the palms of My hand.’” See? How could it be! 60-1208 - The Thyatirean Church Age Rev. William Marrion Branham

Who is Auntie Jemimah ??I don't see the name of the Lord being praised
@theophaniccivilizationchannel Жыл бұрын
@angella maja Even you can be Auntie Jemimah! I see this song is getting a worldwide audience and to some it's tongues! Let me demistify the meaning of the song for you my dear! The inspiration of the song is coming from a quotation extracted from the sermon "Expectation" preached on the 5th of April 1950 by Rev William Marrion Branham! In the sermon at paragraph 48 he says, "A few months ago, coming from Dallas, I was grounded by plane. I’ll tell you this before leaving. I was co-grounded by a plane at Memphis, Tennessee. I stayed all night, and the next morning they called us and said that the plane will leave at nine o’clock. And I went down. I was writing some letters back, and I went to the Post Office, had my grip. And I was going down to the Post Office to mail the letters, and I was going down the street singing that little song that you Pentecost people sing, “I’m So Glad I Can Say I’m One Of Them.” Isn’t that it? Something about people telling everywhere. I was trying to sing that, you know. And I started across the street, and Something said, “Stop.” 49 I started again, and I seen It was the Spirit of the Lord. I moved back into the corner of a bank. I said, “Father, what would You have me do?” He said, “Turn back.” I went right down by the hotel, and kept walking, singing to myself, “Only believe, All things are possible…” Led of the Spirit, I went way down by the river, and to some little colored shacks down there in the river… And I was going walking down. He said, “Turn now to your right.” I was going down a little hill, like this, a beautiful morning, the sun was coming up, flowers just blooming around Memphis. And I was… The sun had just peeping up over the hill, and it’d been a rain the night before, and so it was all beautiful there in the South. And I looked, hanging out over the gate and there hung a typical Aunt Jemima. She had a… Instead of… She had a man’s shirt tied around her head. She was looking over the gate. I come walking by, going [Brother Branham hums-Ed.] going down the street looking, wondering where the Lord was leading me. She looking, tears over her big fat cheeks. She said, “Good morning, parson.” I said, “Howdy do, Auntie.” It caught me, “Parson?” I looked around, I said, “Do you know me?” She said, “Yes sir.” And I said, “Do you know my name?” She said, “No, sir.” I said, “How’d you know I was a parson?” She said, “Parson.” Said, “Did you ever hear about the Shunammite woman that had a baby by… The Lord promised her the baby, and the baby died?” And I said, “Yes.” She said, “I was a woman that way. And I promised the Lord that I’d raise my baby for Him.” And said, “The Lord give husband and I a lovely boy.” And said, “Parson, he took the road that’s wrong when he’s about-a few years ago.” And said, “He got a-a dangerous disease, venereal disease.” And said, “It went so long on him, we didn’t suspect it.” And said, “And now he’s laying in the room dying.” Said, “The doctor has give him all kinds of shots.” And said, “He can’t get well.” And said, “He’s been unconscious since yesterday. The doctor was back here and said, ‘Look for the worst at any time.’ There was no hopes for him. His blood was four-plus, and nothing could help him at all.” And said, “He’s dying.” And said, “I got down on my knees.” And said, “I prayed.” And said, “I prayed, ‘O Lawd.’” Said, “‘I’s a woman like the Shunammite. Where is You Elijah?’ And just begin to praying.” Said, “I prayed and prayed.” And said, “This morning, just before daylight.” Said, “The Lord told, ‘Stand at this gate.’” 50 And there was her back was wet where she’d been standing. She wasn’t telling me anything wrong. She said, “And look.” Oh, my. Begin to… I walked into the house. There was a great big husky looking boy. And she patted him. He was laying there with a-with a blanket in his hand, going, “Um, Um, Um,” like that. And he was saying, “Mammy, it’s so dark. Um. I don’t know where I’s a going, mammy,” like that. She said, “Honey child, do you know mammy?” Honey child. He was… ’Course, no matter how old you are, you’re mother’s child just the same. No matter what you’ve done, you’re still mother’s boy. And there she was, patting him and loving him. She said, “Do you know mammy?” saying, “You know your mammy?” He didn’t seem like he recognized her. He’s hollering, “Mammy,” going on; he was unconscious like condition. And so she said, “Can we pray, Parson?” I said, “Yes ma’am.” 51 And that old saint got down there and prayed. Oh, my. Just wring the heart. And I got up, and I felt his feet. They’s cold and sticky; death was on him. And then we knelt again and begin to pray. And I said, “Dear God, I don’t know why You sent me down here. But You turned me on the road like that, and brought me here. And I know it’s past time for the plane.” However, the plane was delayed two hours. So I said, “I-I don’t know why You brought me here. But now, in obedience to the leading of the Spirit, I lay my hands upon this boy in the Name of Your Son, Christ Jesus.” He said, “Mammy, it’s getting light.” In a few moments he was up and on his feet. I passed through there a few months ago. He met me at the Abbey’s Station. He said, “Brother Branham, I’m perfectly normal now. And it’s all gone from me.” Comment: So Auntie Jemima from Memphis Tennessee went to her type in the Bible and by faith regarded herself as the Biblical Shunamite woman! She asked God where be her Elijah seeing her scenario was at par with the Biblical Shunamite woman's scenario! So Auntie Jemimah's faith is the one that caused a technical fault on that plane and it grounded the servant of the Lord Rev William Marrion Branham! As if it was not enough he not only was a servant of the Lord but he had the Spirit of Elijah also upon him! Thus God spoke to his servant and directed him straight to Auntie Jemimah's gate! She was there waiting for him for she had seen him coming in a vision and had to wait for him in the wee hours of the day even though it was cold! You heard in that account above that she is the one that even first greeted the servant of the Lord for she had seen him in a vision and knew what he would look like when he comes! Now about the song in question: Like I said Auntie Jemimah can even be you depending on your need! You also literally could have a servant of God grounded so he be used to attend to your need so you glorify God when you finally receive your miracle! It might not be a servant of God but there are elements also that God can halt for your sake when you kneel down to pray earnestly so you receive your miracle! You only need to know your Bible well so you can go to your type in the Bible and claim a character that resembles you and your situation and watch what God will do! In simple terms that's the inspiration behind the song Auntie Jemimah! Last by not least, you said you don't see the name of the Lord being praised? Personally when that song was first sung I was there and I gloried God! My daughter's name is Jemimah and to me that song was prophetic! Quantum elements were halted and grounded for the sake of my daughter that she gets her miracle! All the days of her life there shall be a chain reaction of Boeng 747s being grounded for her sake! And again when the song was sung I also took it that I am Auntie Jemimah and God is grounding another plane like he once did in Memphis Tennessee for me hence I praised God and still do even now! God bless you!
