I m living in uk Just giving u a tip for hospital bag make 2 bags one for baby and other for u or u can make one small trolley bag keep front open cloth for baby like boy suits at least 6pairs inside the hospital no need so thick cloth when u will discharged ur hobby can bring car seat and some warm bodysuit 😊and one more thing ur shirts also should be front open it’s easy for feeding ❤best of luck may Allah make it easy for u I hv 3kids and no doubt it’s hard...

Theres one thing I would like to suggest to you in your hospital bag, my friend told me about it because her hospital had a mandate that she had to stay for 4 days. She took a few things to keep with her that comforted her. She said we all pack only for kids but mothers go through a whole range of emotions and one needs to feel comfortable. Hope this helps. Hi Rohini, you can put onesies in bag, as onesies are easy to put on and babies feel comfortable in it. And my advice is don’t go for too much warm or thick clothes as we have centralized heating here.

Just one small advice - for hospital - also keep few extra pair of clothes for baby.. of different sizes.. it happened with me that all clothes we had for baby were too big on my son .. so keep a couple zero size and a couple lil big size clothes as you wouldnt know which size clothes will fit the new born..

The last item is baby's comforter, not a bed sheet. You will probably use onsies on baby more. Something to cover hands and feet. You may need pjs or sweater...something comfortable. No need to overpack as someone will come from home to visit you everyday.

That was a baby blanket. Also onesies are best for winters since they keep the tummy covered. If you want to make the kid wear two-piece dresses, a onesie under it is a good idea. All the best!

Just a tip, buy onesies to wear under clothes, plus first only wear 100% cotton clothes (washed) on baby then wear woollen clothes.

I would suggest use 100%cotton for baby for initial months. And less clothing on the top. Don't use woollen stuff directly on the skin. It can cause hear rash.. mother has there own warmth n heat. I faced that problem.

Dont get worried jus take gown for breastfeeding if u want to wear ur home clothes everything hospital provides .. u can take extra diapers also from hospital when u leave. yes do get diaper rash cream. and get costco membership u will get diapers in cheap rest everywher will be expensive , and if u might want to get formula then costco is best.

Honestly, you don’t need a ton of things in hospital bag, you will know after the delivery, more importantly you have to organize all baby’s stuff like pumping things, bottles, baby clothes, your snacks, buy a rocking chair ( life saver) , auto swing for baby, organize a baby station with diapers, wash clothes, baby wipes, shampoo, lotion, diaper rash, nipple cream, crib or bassinets or in a firm bed with you for sleeping, pack diaper bag ready to go for 3 or 5 days doctor app. Wish and pray for you 😊

This blog reminds me of my pregnancy prep which was just recent. Meri mummy bhi india se aayi aur aise hi kapde kambal sheets laayi thi bacche k liye and yes khane k liye daliya gudd masale mangwaye the 😅. Preparing hospital bag is another big task to do. I Just miss the pampering we receive before having kid. Also one thing I would like to tell you that do take care of your mental health because postpartum depression is really hard. I know though you have loving people to support you and will definitely take care of you. All the best for this new journey and my blessings to you and your family

Rohini buy dozen of full length onesie(they are easy to make them wear and also take off also easy to change the diapers keeping onesie on )two piece are not meant for newborn as they are tiny and their waist is strong enough to hold pants…. Since you have to change the diapers frequently you’ll have to take of the pants all the time ……also a very important thing is postpartum care items many a times we mothers forget about our self we pack all essential for our baby their care products feeding but for about is postpartum care products are also very important for recovery if you have normal delivery

I know I was feeling the same itne 6ote kapde, trust me they will perfect for baby. I also have a hospital bag list, I can share it with you( if you can share an email address). Mostly for baby everything will be available in the hospital but you need to think about yourself as well , small things like toiletries, shocks, extra blanket, pillows(hospital supplies are so limited so). In my case I had to stayed in hospital for 4days so more clothes for you n ur partner whoever is going to stay with you. For baby hospital will provide diapers, swaddles(initially few months baby will sleep in swaddles), wash clothes. But take some mittens n caps for baby n weather appropriate outfit for home coming. Hope this helps. You’re so lucky that you’ve strong support so everything will be okay 😊

If you are going to credit valley for delivery they will not give anything for babies. Pack shampoo baby lotion diapers and baby clothes. With blankets For you please pack trousers shirts sanitary pads too
