I saw several Native Americans say the eclipse is a sacred, solemn and reverent event and in most traditions they stay indoors during it and have special songs and prayers for eclipses. Most say do not look at it because of the energies. I think if you do choose to look at the eclipse, wear the special eyeglasses and have an attitude of reverence for planetary forces of nature.
