The concept of shame for men vs women when it comes to bodycount/cheating has to do with access. Women control accessibility into the sexual market, so a man is seen as having “good game” if he’s able to get more women to provide access. But the other way round isn’t the case. A woman can EASILY sleep with 10 men today if she wants, but for a man to do that… it has to take significant effort and resources. IMO the societal stigma isn’t the same bcs of who controls the access, and that’s what Sheldon is missing.

I think most people are not getting what Sheldon is saying. He's just saying we have to break away from the normalization of male promiscuity as clearly seen in the society. Sleeping around shouldn't get praised no matter who is doing it. As Scanty put outs, yes Solomon is known to have taken many wives and concubines but the Bible also clearly states in the book of Proverbs some advice against promiscuity by Solomon himself. Male promiscuity has never been normalised in the Bible, its just accounted for in it.
