ASMR: TRYING A&W'S GRAMPA BURGER FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME

Late 50's, early 60's... my parents, sister, bro & I would walk the mile or so down to A&W after dinner on hot summer nites for root beer floats. Then dad would buy one of those frosty cold, 1 gal glass jugs of root beer, throw it over his shoulder & haul it home for our dessert the next few nites. Can still feel that balmy summer evening heat, smell the addicting aromas coming from A&W, and taste my mom's favorite treat, those wonderful floats. Norman Rockwellish, golden memories...

Yes, power out for 24 hours. Took my mom and sister to a hotel for the night coz they were freezing and hungry. Another one on the way my friend. I am all set, got my camp stove and lanterns out in the garage standing by. Thanks for thinking of me, you are awesome.....:)

A&W was always my favorite as a kid. Like you, I was relegated to the teen burger as my parents thought I’d never finish anything larger. Boy were they wrong! Unfortunately, the nearest A&W is three hours away - I’ll just have to enjoy it vicariously through you. Keep up the great work!

I'm like you my friend, when I eat a burger I want everything on it, cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, sauce and anything else that's going... fiancée is the exact opposite, if there's anything other than beef patty and cheese between the buns then she won't touch it 🤣 must be such an effort to be a fussy eater... great video and as always love to you and yours ❤

Why do I watch these videos when I am hungry. I haven't had fast food burger in like forever. I mainly eat protein shakes, Eggs, Chicken, soup, beef fish, veggies, etc.(mainly homecooked) I love Whoopers and I love Western bacon cheeseburgers. I swear this is like torture. LOL

I still remember going to the A&W with my mom and dad and they’d bring the tray out to the car and hook it on your window and you can eat right there in the parking lot. I thought that was the best thing in the world and when I graduated to the teen burger, I thought that was like coming of age to me. I’m sure you remember white spot too going there and then they put the whole tray inside your car and hook it on either end and I’d always order the pirate pack that was awesome. I remember taking my pirate pack home putting in my bathtub and of course, it would fall apart and sink and I’d cry for the rest of the day. 😂

Hi Mark..Wow this burger looks so delicious! First if all thanks to the comment on my Question with the bubbly drinks. I always love to try new stuff from other countrys and in also love any drinks like fanta wirh the taste of orange. Also perfect that all the drinks are with zero sugar because i am trying to loose a bit weight at the moment. Really appreciate it! Thanks for youre nice contet here i absolutely love it!🎉🎉
