Also it wouldn’t be surprising if carol and sidian also know and don’t care as well because I definitely think they are all gibeon grandkids but amethio is the favorite/golden child while the rest are just there they want his love as well. Also in some royal stories they could also have someone that is abusing the unfavorable kid(s) under the king’s (gibeon) nose most of the time its the nanny or butler this would be hamber and the way the other teens stop fighting when hamber talks but amethio doesn’t because can’t hurt the golden child definitely 1 with 2 personal bodyguards. Spinel could want to know where everyone is at all times so he is prepared if hamber attacks him more likely with his dusknoir could be the whole reason his Pokémon has teleport to escape, chalice and sidian hardly speak at all and carol could hurt others because she is being hurt.

I kinda knew this is coming the way Amethio and Spinel are so different from one another. Spinel likes to do things dirty in general and Amethio has some inkling of respect to whoever he is facing. Spinel doesn't respect his Umbreon and Amethio respects his Ceruledge. Basically like how Team Rocket has some good in their heart, Amethio has it.

Even if Amitheo initially "brushes this off" it will still likely have more and more consequences down the line. It is possible that he appears to brush it off on the surface bc of his business duties, but this event plants the seed in his brain to want to turn on spinel. Amitheo does not have to make up his mind right away especially bc gibeon is his grandfather. Amitheo, already is almost an antihero so I think this event will further develope that role.

I very much agree. There is no benefit to brushing it off it will come back later to harm Amethio in some sort way maybe to point where spinel do something crazy and make sure this time Amethio doesn't live. Two like you said it will now plant seed in his brain to maybe start playing dirty tactics on Spinel now unconsciously gaining his evil way of thinking. Whatever option it may be it doesn't end well for him hopefully Amethio choose good before it is too late

I think his loyalty to Gibeon is too strong at the moment for him to just completely leave the explorers and switch sides but this episode should definitely set things up for the future regardless of how it ends. I do wonder if he does return to the explorers whether he'll report Spinel to Gibeon for trying to kill him or if he's not in a position to do so. Spinel must be pretty confident to not be worried about Gibeon possibly finding out what he done with his grandson.

I can very much agree with this. The chance that this episode he switches over is highly low however like you send it does set things up, get Amethio thinking about his future and his own values is what he's doing now truly right? i'm sure he will come to his senses in the future hopefully before it is too late. Yeah this is such a good question and why i brought up in my video too i feel like it's such interesting story line with many paths it can take and different outcomes too i'm prediction is he will straight not leave the explorers maybe do things on his own but i can also see him his Grandpa spinel tried to kill him Anyways very exciting I can't for next few episodes to unfold and awesome points too 😁

The writers of Horizons know what they're doing. Amethio is being set up for a redemption arc, and he has been from the start. It's not going to be immediate, and I could see this arc ending in something similar to the end of season 2 of Avatar, where Zuko shares some genuine bonding moments with Katara but ultimately can't push himself away from the fire nation before he realizes that everything he has everything he thinks he wants and still isn't satisfied with it. I actually think Amethio probably ends this arc triumphant (not immediately, but eventually, he could take a while and go through an Amethio alone arc first), exposing Spinel and becoming Gibeon's right hand man, but not truly believing in the mission anymore. Liko will feel betrayed because it actually felt like he was changing, and things will end even more contentious between them than before even though they develop something similar to a friendship getting out of that cave, and realizing they work really well together. I'm pretty convinced at this point that the ridiculously bad writing of Journeys has made Pokemon fans forget that good writers are capable of producing character arcs that last longer than one episode, because it's been kind of insane the amount of people who focus on perceived flaws of the show that are clearly setup for longer term arcs. Lets be patient with Amethio and see what the writers have in store for him. He'll complete his character arc eventually, but it's going to be a bumpy ride, and the story is going to be better for it.

Amitheo has things he wants to get out of his adventure, being trapped in a cave will only change how he pursues those goals, in my opinion. Reconsidering his goals will depend a lot on the upcoming interaction with Liko.

I personally don't see Amethio just switching sides immediately after this just yet, at best it plants the seeds. For one as far as he knows what occurred was only Spinel's doing, he doesn't know Chalce is helping Spinel too, possibly Coral and Sidian but its not clear if they know about Amethio. And even if he does find out it's unlikely he would turn on the Explorers as a whole, he would see at as a betrayal from his fellow Admins, but Amethio is ultimately loyal to Gibeon while Spinel and Chalce I'd say were acting without Gibeon's knowledge. I'm also just guessing, but I think its likely Amethio has been groomed from a young age for his role in the Explorers as Gibeon's heir, given Amethio's fathers absence and mentioned failure, I think its likely Amethio's upbringing was take over by Gibeon from a young age, or rather Hamber took over as Gibeon's proxy. Given all that, I see Amethio will still for a while stick with the Explorers, though he'll likely be more on guard against the other Admins. But it would likely take either a betrayal from Gibeon, or seeing his Grandad do something abhorrent with Rakurium for Amethio to finally switch sides.

I really think he will and i have been since the beginning lol. I think he’s a really good kid deep down. Who’s being manipulated. Amethio is reminding me of Hunter from Owl house who started evil in the first half of season 2 and tried to foil the plans of and even unalive the main cast. Then after he becomes a ally upon learning his uncle’s secret motives and that he was using him. If Amethio does stay evil would be interesting and bro could even go berserk until he snaps and bites back.

I would guess that Amethio will try to go after black Rayquaza by himself in order to prove himself to his grandfather and get revenge on Spinel for framing him by showing the footages of him helping Liko out of the cave and not catchingTerapagos which got Amethio expelled from the Explorers. There is no way amethio, zirc and onia will live on the RVT ship there is no room it only has 8 rooms all taken its why Diana slept on the couch. So what is more likely is amethio will get his own 8 room airship and slowly let the other explorers on it because unlike him gibeon favorite golden child the others are left in the hands of hamber who could be abusing them with dusknior. Like he has amethio with 2 personal bodyguards and he gave him a Tera orb and the others nothing and has 1 on 1 meetings with amethio and only talks to the others all together when hamber present. Also doesn’t help that it seems gibeon can’t leave his pink fog room.

Don't forget they are repairing the ship and orla even talked about upgrading it to make it better so they might have more rooms after repairing.so there is still a chance for amethio to join

@@Thalaforeveryreason-ci7 no the only way there could be more rooms is if they replaced the air balloon and both times we have went to the airship in this arc we know it hasn’t been replaced the upgrades she is talking about most likely means for the battle deck or engine or something that makes the ship faster or better at moving around to avoid the ship getting damaged. Amethio, zirc and onia are going to be doing there own path and go to amethio dad and other family who I think could be knights because that is amethio theme and they train for a ep to become a knights crew with a airship and we see them doing a knight missions from time to time like gmen, aura guardians, rangers etc.

We got the cargo hold, the 8 rooms, battle deck, the lookout deck, the kitchen/dining room, the nurse room, the engine room and the pilot room. Only thing we have not seen is the bathroom.

Nice video! I like the idea of Amethio being an anti hero and I'm sure it will happen but I think it won't be after this episode I think Amethio will return to the explorers hq and will try telling his grandfather what happened, I can see Gibeon not believing him or pretend he doesn't. Maybe Amethio will be pressured in continuing to work for the explorers by him or Hamber until Spinel will try to hurt him again.
