I believe if you use both sticks to get the Chance Star (or scratch the screen with two fingers for PS Vita), you can succeed in Chance Time while watching the failed ending. I know this is the case in F 2nd, but I’m not so sure if it’s in F or f.

Jeez, if you're a decent player, you'd probably never catch a lot of these, which is sad because sometimes to make the comparison have any weight you'd need to have seen the fail (ex. Stay With Me, Tokyo Teddy Bear) That said a lot of the differences do seem to be just extra confetti and balloons or more lights, which is kind of lazy. Also; why is the Haci-Hachi Flower Fight animation cooler for failing than it is for succeeding? This makes no sense.
