SO close to 3 million, now! So pleased for you! Not only have you helped so many people, but you have had a MAJOR influence on other cleaners, who realised they could work for free and help people and earn from social media. Your sweet non judgement has made a big influence. One cleaning service used to be nasty about people. I think a number of people left messages that they were horrible and said you were so wonderful and SO much more popular. So you are really helping so many. Though I am pleased that I know what they are really like - not kind. But at least they are not so nasty in public, about the people they clean for, now. All thanks to you.

I was reading the news on my phone when I saw a few clips from your channel being used in an advertisement for a product called Splash Spray. I did not know how to properly message you about it, so I came here to tell you, in case it was without your permission. In watching your videos, I have never heard you promote this product. The entire title reads: Easy Trick To Remove Oven Stains (No Scrubbing Needed) Here's 1 simple way to remove the toughest oven stains in seconds without scrubbing. It is most definitely you in the video example they have in this ad.

I have learned a lot from Auri to make cleaning easier. I am 73 and I clean every day unless I am sick. I bought a floor squeegee which is so much easier than using a mop. I also bought power paste, lots of dish soap and some scrub mommys and two scrub daddys and scrapers. I used oven cleaner on my sister's cupboards after she passed away. I stayed at her house for a month cleaning it up. She had dementia and was a hoarder so she didn't like me to clean her house when I went to visit her. She used to feel bad if I tried to clean. We didn't live in the same cities. I used Auri's tips. I wish I could have cleaned before she passed away. I enjoy cleaning most of the time. Not when I am tired though. Thank you Auri for your beautiful videos.

@the_gaiaphage Жыл бұрын
i mean she said it was a long road trip, could have been months. and i think the fact that the cabinets and fridge were pretty clean and organized lend credibility to her story that it wasn't her who caused the mess. also some stains and dust probably were there from the start, i doubt she left it perfectly spotless
@mariaamshalabi Жыл бұрын
@@the_gaiaphage I agree that might be the case but also notice how she said she is embarrassed by her apartment. why would she be? she isn’t the one who made it dirty. she should’ve been angry with her “friend” rather than be ashamed and forced that friend to clean with her 😕 its just a sad situation also how long is this roadtrip😭😭 this mess would take months and months to make
@the_gaiaphage Жыл бұрын
@@mariaamshalabi idk i could see her still being embarrassed even if she doesn't make the mess, it's still her house. if someone trashed my house like this, i would not only be embarrassed of the mess when the cleaning crew arrived, but I'd also be embarrassed that i had been friends with someone who would do something like that. it would make me feel stupid. she also probably still feels responsible for the mess even if she wasn't the one actively creating it

She might have been staying with her mom taking care of her before she passed away, having to quit her career, and forced to do work online or odd jobs that she’s not especially proud of. But, that said, I did still assume that at least the beginnings of the mess must have been her own before her friend stayed there. She probably didn’t realize people on this channel will only love her and embrace her either way. This channel has helped me understand mental health in a whole new way. ❤

Yes, linoleum is right, and you pronounced it correctly. That used to be the most popular flooring for kitchens in the US -- in the 1970 and 80's almost every house had it. I'm not sure about today or if it was ever popular in Europe.
@SMTRodent Жыл бұрын
I can tell you that in the UK nearly all kitchens had vinyl 'linoleum' or 'lino' flooring in the 1980s. Real lineoleum is much rarer and I've only ever seen it when doing lino cutting, and might be the stuff that can't handle bleach. Our vinyl lino could handle anything.
@sharong8511 Жыл бұрын
The authentic linoleum was invented by an Englishman in 1855. It is a mixture of linseed oil, pine resin, cork dust, sawdust and mineral fillers on a background of burlap or canvas and dyed with various coloured pigments. Nowadays sheet vinyl is often called lino but they are not the same product. ~ I remember my mother waxing the floors when I was a little girl. She finally got an electric polisher which saved a lot of work. When I was about seven I slipped on the waxed linoleum and dropped my grandfather’s typewriter and cracked the iron case. Luckily it didn’t land on my foot.

The wife of my ex-husband's cousin is....or was (don't know if she's still alive as I haven't seen them in more than 43 years....the most amazing housekeeper. She was also a very talented craftswoman, one who loved to make tons of decorative, but useful, very colorful things for her home and that of her mother. When she cleaned the house, which was every day, G would get down on her knees and scrub every floor by hand---this was back in the very early 70s---even though she was about 150 pounds overweight. She couldn't stand any dirt whatsoever, none, and her two then-little boys and her husband had to remove all their clothes, including underwear, as soon as they walked in from school and work (laundry room entrance when the men came home, never the kitchen door or the front door), drop their dirty clothes into the washer, take a shower there in the laundry room--custom built feature--put on a robe and go to their respective rooms and get dressed for the afternoon/evening. Nothing formal, but most definitely clean! I don't think about them much, not having been particularly close, but I see something like this particular apartment, and I think what a fit G would have if she were to even see such a mess, let alone have it happen in her house (nobody would live long enough to be able to explain what and why if it happened in her house, she'd just choke them all to death!) If she's still alive, she likely has help now because she'd be in her mid-70s, at least. Probably still keeps a super clean house, though. She was also a fantastic cook, and her men never lacked for delicious meals, baked goods, and all kinds of homemade snacks!

Everyone should clean behind and under their refrigerators with a vacuum. There is a fan and dust accumulates. If you have pets it will be worse. It needs to be vacuumed out at least three or four times a year. I love your videos and that you help people.

European homes look so much easier to clean than USA! Counters and floors are much cheaper material that stain and no bathroom drains 😢 can’t wait to see you clean in Miami!

Well the materials of floors and furnitures depend on what you can afford. Doesn‘t matter if its USA or Europe.

in the 60's and 70's linoleum was the biggest and newest thing. We always kept it clean I did not know that acid-base stuff would make it stain, 6 decades later I learned something new. Don't worry about the pronunciation, different parts of the USA pronounce it all differently, you pronounced it like my family did.

I am so happy to be a subscriber and getting your videos to watch 😊! You are my favorite "cleaner" to watch because you tell a bit about the home you are working in and you explain about what cleaning products and tools work the best for the stains. You are amazing and so kind and such a beautiful heart ❤ Your English is very good, and yes, you pronounced 'linoleum' just right 🙂👍Watching you from USA 🇺🇸. Love you ❤🙏🌹

Poor thing was too embarrassed to admit what happened which i understand, but if they don't admit they did it theyre just going to hoard the space back up again. They need therapy :(

The woman who asked for help was definitely not lying. I've seen someone close to me have this exact thing happen to them and worse. This person lost their mother and asked a friend they thought they could trust to look after her home, just to come home to that. I'm not saying she also isn't to blame. But the fact her cabinets were organised points to the fact she usually is organised and a clean person. Also, seeing that much trash and dirt build up along with dealing with your mental health, that's not easy and may worsen one's mental health. She may have added to it cos she didn't know what else to do, or she just left it how it was. The main thing we should be focusing on is that she got help. The fact that many people believe she is lying is just crazy. This is the exact reason why people get mental health, when people don't listen, understand, and assume things of people.

@@UnFuckTheWorld19 agreed, the amount of judgment in Auri's comments can be really strange sometimes given she is teaching others not to judge.

When she talked about a Stone Cleaner, I first thought she meant a Pumice Stone that can take out stains, but I use CLR Clean and Clear Stone Cleaner for a stone counter top as it cleans Granite, Corian, Tile and Marble.
@therealJamieJoy Жыл бұрын
I think she is talking about a pumice stone on a handle.
@Stopthisrightnow560 Жыл бұрын
Negative. She's referring to a cleaning product that comes in a "stone"- like a block of soap with gritty texture. You just wipe it with a cloth or sponge to take some product and then it dries back into its natural state.
@Jibbie49 Жыл бұрын
@@therealJamieJoy I looked that up and hadn't seen that they come with a handle now.

@@Stopthisrightnow560 I hadn't seen that, so had to look it up, as I knew about LAVA Bar Soap, but that "Stone" comes in a block with a "Mug Brush" for $35 so looks like it would last a long time.

You can bring liquid cleaner on the plane though, you just need to put it in your checked-in luggage, not the carry on. I have traveled with lots of shower gels and stuff from Britain to Germany, no problem as long as it is in the checked-in bag
