the way Aurora looked in the camera and winked after saying moist, is my favourite part :DD

I loved that too. She is something else.

Aurora is just so genuine, thoughtful, intelligent, honest, wise and endlessly fascinating. Of course we have her music where she literally "sings her mind".

Aurora's perspective is so interesting and deep. The interview missed the point but in doing so, proved Aurora's point

This interviewer often misses the forest for the trees in her questions. She keys in on some of the least important points, and not just with Aurora. I noticed it in previous interviews, and the two other interviews in this set. For example, the comedian she started with she couldn't get off the sleep topic. Other than a few words at the start, I knew very little about who this guy was, what his show was about, nothing. All I know is that he likes to get enough sleep. With Aurora, rather than asking how the Gods played a part in her album, her styling, and her performances, or going deeper into philosophy and asking how she thinks separating God from nature and putting him in the sky has impacted society and whether she thinks we need to instill that faith back in people, she jumps to the "what's your favorite God", as if Aurora is just a little girl who just finished her first Mythology children's book. She's 25... The interviewer isn't conversating with any real depth to what's being said, rather she seems to be superficially listening to what the person says and follows up with equally superficial questions. Aka going through the motions. I noticed the same thing with the next guest who administers / helps the negotiations at COP26. Very little in terms of deep questions about the gathering, about its impacts, about specific interesting examples and stories of the meetings. It came across as if the woman was a glorified secretary. Where's the deep questions like "where are you seeing problems in these types of meetings and negotiations". "Are we doing enough". "Are the young people and protestors having any impact on the national level?" "What does she think needs to change with the leadership to start seeing real rapid large scale changes".

Everything about this interview fascinates me: the introduction of two very guarded people performing for society/television trying to get Aurora to "break character" by drilling her only to have her show she's not performing by her willingness to answer their questions outright and discuss personal things like shame if they choose to go there, the way her response was played off by the woman interviewer trying to bring the conversation back to the surface by joking about shame with her co-host only to realize she doesn't know him as much as she thought when her question causes HIM to break character, the way the interviewer who seemed the most judgemental of Aurora's disposition was also the one carrying the most shame... This video could easily be used in a communications/sociology class for analyzing human behavior.

I should probably add some more information: Thomas Giertsen was a guest on the show, and before Aurora entered the scene Anne was having a chat with him about his latest achievements. He is a well known person in Norway from many sitcoms on TV as well as stand-up comedy shows on scenes around the country. Aurora has been a guest on this show with Anne on several occasions in the past, so I think Anne actually knows Aurora quite well. But faced with these difficult topics that are not so often discussed in public, it seems to be clear that Aurora has thought this through at a deeper level than most people, and maybe Anne was not ready to go there on a Saturday night entertainment show?

it feels like Anne's not listening, her questions weren't matching Aurora's previews answers, pretty weird overall. Thanks for sharing!

@@tommyh4116 I have noticed that too and I'd laughed even harder. I knew what she was doing but that wink was the cherry on top. Unexpected.
