I love her reaction when the male choir stepped in, as she didn't know that was going to happen. If interested check out the HAIK documentary/concert this comes from; you get a fascinating look into who she is. Thanks for another AURORA reaction!

I just want to agree with Andy and let you the 2 links for the HAIK, both have subtitles, just need to activated. Could be nice if you do a reaction on the whole thing, the documentary or the concert, it is long video but can be nice.... anyway at least look at it for yourself ;o) HAIK documentary: kzbin.info/www/bejne/imSQdpWpgpaEpqs HAIK concert: kzbin.info/www/bejne/bqbRkKCfpMl2pdE Thank you for your reaction :o)

Her Norwegian ancestors were speaking to her the night she wrote those lyrics! "Suffocate me, so my tears can be rain I will water the ground where I stand So that the flowers can grow back again" This was her offering herself as a willing human sacrifice to restore the prosperity of land! This was an actual Old Norse practice in ancient times where the chosen was straggled with a garrot, giving their life as an offering to restore balance to their world.

This is an amazing performance 🤩🤩 If you like vikings, norse folk etc, I will highly recommend you to react to WARDRUNA AND AURORA - "Helvegen" 👍👍 You will be blown away 🙂🙂 And yes, Aurora is from Norway 😉🇧🇻

To me the line "suffocate me, so my tears can be, I will water the ground where I stand, so the flowers can grow back again" sounds like a willingness to sacrifice everything to make the world a better place. I mean it basically says: you can kill me if that means that the nature where I am can be brought back to life

I think it's my favourite line by her.

In the nordic mythology, the first creature, Yme, was killed in order to give life to the gods. In Christianity you have the sacrifice of Jesus. In socialism you have the sacrifice ( taxes) for common goods.

THE MALE CHOIR IS A SURPRISE FROM THE PRODUCTION FOR AURORA CHECK AURORA LIVE IN GLASTONBURY 2019 AND LOLLAPALOOSA IN BRAZIL 2018 GREAT LIVE VENUES
@elizabethlessner29112 жыл бұрын
Can you imagine having a last minute concert with a surprise all male choir snuck in???? Well, actually...it's Aurora! a person that started making music at 7ish and writing lyrics around 9 when she felt that she knew English well enough. Aurora never intended to be a performer, professional singer, songwriter.....she just did it for herself. She was going to be just an everyday person with an everyday job. It was by pure chance that she was heard by a recording company after one of her songs, that she recorded went on KZbin or some other social platform (the song was written and sang to to parents for their anniversary) and it exploded in views. So the record producers want her and she didn't want to do it, she thought that it wouldn't work. Her mother encouraged her to give it a try and well the rest is history. The 1st releases I think were "Running with the Wolves" and "RunAway" Songs that she wrote before she was even a teenager. Runaway was written by an 11yr! There is no other one like her she does everything...she is a walking, talking, singing, dancing, songwriting, producer...plus having her fingers in everything else...her videos are excellent! Just because her live performances are phenomenol..don't skip the video's. Like in The Seed, she does an interpretive dance during that song in the video and "Queendom" is a lot of fun and she dances in that one too. Aurora is so multi dimentional you can find so many different types of songs from her. Lastly I suggest watch some of her interviews, the casual ones...you will see a person that is totally open, extremely intelligent, warm, engaging....As much as she can pull you in with her music, singing and lyrics, she can do the same during those interviews. I love this artist and I hope that life is good to her and that she has a long healthy and happy life so that a lot of people can be touched by her magic.

Awsome reaction. This is the forest where she used to spend a lot of time as a child and growing up. She is Norwegian and from just outside Bergen. Hope you react to the rest of the concert, you get to hear and see Aurora in between. And she ends the concert with wise words to us all. She is mad , bonkers out of her head, but you know what the best people are... from Alice in wonderland.

Haha, so funny, this is actually one where the official video is most requested because of it's imagery. The irony :) But this one is great as well! More than great.

Everything you said about Aurora is accurate, brother. Good job. I love how much you appreciated her. This is my first time watching your Aurora reaction so I don't know which songs you already hear/react, but I would suggest: It Happened Quiet, Murder Song, Conqueror, and the ultimate song Queendom if you still not get a hold on that. ETA: I can only watch videos with English subtitle so I really appreciate it if you activate that CC feature like in this video.

I'm just sitting here waiting for you to sing along with her like the rest of Aurora's fans. XD In one of Aurora's interviews she talks about how she loves the way how the male's voices are beautiful in ways similar to the hymn.

I really like your reactions to AURORA. I would like it if you reacted to one of her songs from "@ La Cigale, Paris, France ,30th october 2018" as I haven't seen any reactors do that. (I can recommend her version of Runaway from that concert). The connection between AURORA and the audience is always great but in this concert it is astonishing! I also can recommend the video "Soft universe - Warrior - Live Paris 2018" ; the bit in the beginning with Aurora talking to the audience is so nice. If you don't want to make a reaction-video of my tips, I can recommend that you watch those performances for yourself anyway :-)
