I literally started learning Norwegian about 3 months ago....specifically to watch Aurora interviews that aren't captioned. lol...now that's commitment, right? To be honest....I also would love to live in Norway at some point in my life. And while Norwegians are hyper fluent in English...I'd still want to be fluent in _their_ language too. 3 months in, and I'm realizing it's gonna take a while. It's not easy learning a new language! But! Watching this now....is pretty fun and interesting and gives me some motivation. Because I can definitely understand a fair number of words.....and that, combined with context clues and body language, makes it possible to kinda sorta get what they're talking about. It feels like progress.... :)

Some adorable Aurora moments: 4:05 The interviewer asks the guy about his breathing (exercises?), and just hearing the word makes Aurora enjoy a deep breath. 9:46 "What matters the most is bringing back the moisture. Aurora's music, particularly tracks such as 'The River', 'Soulless creatures', 'All is Soft Inside', 'Churchyard' have moved me in ways which barely any other music ever has. I do like her new album, but I feel like it lacks the opaque "metaphysical" depth of her earlier work...

We are all in a pickle! We need to be brave and adjust our economics immediately, like this year, to environmental harmony economics. In Florida I see all of our trees at risk because of HOA projects to house people. There are not enough people to house and insurance companies are pulling out of Florida. You can’t get a loan for a new house without insurance. Why do the ashes of our forests fall in my garden every day if there is no purpose?

There is only one speaking language in Norway - norwegian - but two in writing (nynorsk, bokmål). But there are many dialects/accents. I think Aurora speaks a southwest dialect; Some of these are Bergensk, Haugesundsk, Stavangersk. She's born in Stavanger but lives nowadays close to Bergen... So I'm pretty sure she speaks Bergensk.
