I've been using public transportation for over 10 years (SEPTA). Youd be surprised. We see a lot of crazy people on the bus,all types. A lot of people just become used to it. Most people just put their heads down and mind their business. I mean I was just on a bus last week where a homeless guy was smoking crack and the girl next to him threw this big tantrum and was about to fight him. This shit happens all the time(obviously not someone being gunned down). People just assume the situation will take care of itself. Me personally,id open the window and hop out if I saw someone with a knife. But there's also the fear factor,especially when most these people are In the back of the bus and the suspect is cutting off their exit.
