Thanks for the lyrics. But I think she actually sings "But I couldn't stop the growling" (figuratively speaking about the sound of the wind) and "quiet" instead of "wild"

I've been listening to this daily for weeks. I think it's brilliant. It's just under-tempo to create some 'marching' tension. Her relaxed voice floating. The swinging way the arpeggiator comes back in on the second beat. The abrupt drop at 1:05 when the chorus finally comes in hard. "Give me all your power show me what I need to see." (I'll startle the people around me by cranking the volume for that part.) The syncopated way the arpeggiator comes back on the fourth beat of "and rock me like a baby." at 1:41. ... then lets the tension bloom at 1:50. Then the quiet "ugh" after "don't believe in me on my own" before the second chorus.

Not sure what this song means. Kinda burned out on storms this year. They washed in salt that killed my avacados and broke my gumbo limbo tree in three big pieces. I don’t have the heart to remove her. She has small trees surrounding her roots. She didn’t die. She lives on through her kids.
