Yeah, I agree with you Bob. This is a piece of stunning visual art as well as well as a very well arranged, written, and sung piece of music. And a call to arms to wake up from our collective complacency and course correct. The anger and outrage in the visual performance is wholly justified and her look directly into the camera at the very end seems to implore, "what will YOU do now?" .

She is laser focused on this one and gets her point across in a way only she can. Remarkable passion and extraordinary vocal performance here-not a gentle nudge but a punch to the gut. Always loved this one!

You saw her Friday May 27 in Chicago I believe. We saw her Saturday May 28 in Detroit. I bet you are right about this being the most passionate song of the show you saw, where the lights were all flashing. At the Detroit concert, the energy in the room and everyone singing the song was AWESOME (same with Warrior)! She was AS AWESOME live as I expected!!! And we waited afterwards and got to see her and we got a group photo at her request! My 13 yo daughter got to speak with her and her autograph. I found her to be very focused on the person she was talking with, like no one else was around, very kind and genuine.

Great reacton 🙂 This is one of my absolute favorites by Aurora. Strong visuals, strong and beautiful text (Suffocate me, so my tears can be rain. I will water the ground where I stand, so the flowers can grow back again ) and very strong, symbolic dancing on top of that. For instance, take a look at the 3:43 mark how she makes the movement of a jellyfish and then we get to see the jellyfish movement in the next frame. The spinning disc she sits on. The symbolism of the colors that you mention.. very intelligent song and music video. And then I haven't even mentioned her voice. LOL And I agree with you, it doesn't really matter WHICH side you're leaning toward in the climate debate. The text and visuals still apply. Take care, Bob !

To his defence, Listening to a studio version/musicvideo of Aurora, and then the same song live can often be like listening to two different songs. My general recommandation when it comes to Aurora reactions would always be to watch/listen to the official musicvideos first or the studio versions if there is no video. Then watch her live performences after. I do believe you will appretiate the song in general so much more that way.

@@onlyme064 thanks. That sounds like a good idea. I do have to try to figure out what might be blocked, and what might not. AURORA is pretty good about it though.

Great reaction to a very powerful video. Not only did you do a great job giving a very insightful reaction to the song, but you also did a pretty good job of dancing around the issue a bit 😉. I understand that taking a position on the "debate" can lead to all sorts of unpleasantness, but I do believe that your heart is in the right place. Keep on the Aurora journey - it's fun going along with you!

This song is beautiful. This music video must be watched. Because it highlights and illuminates the song in a perfect way. And the energy of Aurora is great. But this song must also be seen live. And I think that the Haik version is really worth it. Especially because there is a surprise waiting for her. Have you never seen the Haik concert? I thought so... Well. In fact, you have to see the show and then the concert. It's just... it's a must. Realy :) :)

I saw her live in May. As it turns out, I did hear this song live, I just didn't recall it until I played it here. You hear so many songs at a concert that it's hard to remember exactly what you heard. This one sounded a bit familiar and it turns out I did hear it. I'll check YT for some live cuts though. Thanks.

@@ModernLifeForThe70sMind Yes yes, I remember when you told us you were going to see her live. But I really thought you had seen and reacted (to) the HAIK video of about an hour. Actually I have seen a lot of reacts on Aurora and I can't myself always remember who did what. Sorry :) Concerning Haik, it's one of the ways to dive a little in Aurora's thoughts and reflections. And it is so nice to see her smiling and enjoing life... In the concert, she is just... you feel like her endorphins have gone through the roof. She just rocks. :)

It is exactly anger she is expressing in this video, while the environmental song on the newest album "Exhale Inhale" is a quiet beautiful song about the anxiety and fear about the current state of the environment and what will happen before we can turn it around. Here is a quote about "The Seed": "I'm missing anger in the youth. Not the blind rage, pointed towards all and nothing. But the kind of rage that wakes you up in the morning, the kind of rage that inspires you to do something with the power you have in you. So I made a song. Filled with fire. And power. It's time for us to really fight for her. This is a cry for Mother Earth." Quote about "Exhale Inhale" (there is a great Vevo live performance of the song on her main channel - hint hint 🙂): "'Exhale Inhale' is about breath, to remember to breathe about anxiety for yourself, for the world, for your part in this world." "It's an important song for me. It is about the fear of the great disasters that await us and the feeling that can overwhelm us that everything is too big and overwhelming, that we can no longer avoid the disaster. I see that paralysis all around me, in many young people. And not only in regard to the climate problem, but also in the social interaction between them. Even if you see that a friend of yours is in trouble, if someone is in spiritual distress, you must intervene. Even if you think it's too late. That's not. We will have to overcome our fear of the irreversible."

BTW: I was also on a concert 29.06.2022, unfortunately I got infected (probably there :) ) and still not recovered totally (not sure if covid or not but I though it already ended but yesterday I feel like it try to return or it is second infection :) ). Maybe I was unlucky:).

Great reaction as always👍 And finally back with my favourite artist 🤗 I absolutely agree with you, Aurora actually wants people to do what they can. She often says that not everyone can be Greta Tunberg. Also, if you buy something from her, a cd, t-shirt or other things, she plants a tree for each item 💚 This music video is a masterpiece, I always get chills watching it. And the line “suffocate me so my tears can be rain, I will water the ground where I stand so the flowers can grow back again” always gets to me💕 Could you please react to: “Exhale Inhale” live at VEVO, beautiful performance. Hello Bob, often the message in her lyrics is not clear, it has to be interpreted. You know that and you said it too. This song has the strongest message. A clear message. And this message is addressed to all people on planet earth. That is what makes the song so different. By the way, the melody is fantastic. So soft in the part for nature and so hard in the part with the message. Very impressive. Masterly. "We are burning our fingers - but we are learning to forget". Usually when we burn our fingers we learn that the fire or the stovetop, are hot. Aurora sees it differently. Is she really right? Then humanity is lost. It's a powerful wake-up call. You know how good AURORA is live, but in this case I find the images of the music video so impressive that it's better than a live version. The song "Exhale Inhale" from her new album is the second part to this song. You must have heard it at the concert. - Exhale Inhale kzbin.info/www/bejne/fXylgaB3e9Vjnac kzbin.info/www/bejne/e5Sse2aGqcpgaNU - great live version - Exhale Inhale & Eyes of A Child Live at Os Church 13/3/2022 Thoughtful greetings and as always a "thank you" from Germany

Hm… seen this video at least 20 times since I have discovered Aurora this year and it did not strike me until you mentioned the colors. Red, Blue and Green… from what I have learned about Aurora, I bet that is deliberate. I see the political colors Republican, Democrat and environmentalist. Unfortunately man will be the death of this green planet 😢
