37:00 : " Thank you so much... I remember when we played here two years ago. I was headbanging a lot the day before and threw my neck out.. But this year I didn't, wooho. This is a very good day for all of us, playing here - I remember the first time we were all so nervous we almost peed our pants - And now, we're here again. And - First, we are all gonna give the entire band an applause, but - There is a man standing here, his name is Alf, and this is one of his last concerts in a while. And that, I think you should give him,- He is having twins! That is pretty big. (inaudible) And the twins will be named after two of our band members of course (obvious joke) yeah.. Ok. We can keep singing now." 41:43 : "Thank you. .. Ehm, I have - I have saved armpit hair now for two weeks. - For today, for the occasion.. Is there a camera man here? He's filming.. is there a picture up there? (points) Yes? (Shows off armpit, and says something I can't decipher.) - It isn't much to brag about though, but it's a little. It is what I can muster. It's very weird but, it feels.. weird. - but very, good. I think it's nice. It reminds me of that French lady Leonardo Dicaprio sketched in Titanic.-She has very pretty hands, but doesn't have legs, or something like that.. (looks back at a band member and realizes she has completely trailed off and becomes somewhat embarassed.) Oh well, at least you have gotten some facts and knowledge today. - like that eyes can pee, armpit hair.. and, well. .. The next - Hi, hi Robin (waves) - He's very, very kind. He gave me a beer today. ... - I've gotten.. (struggles) I've got a hair in my mouth. It is very annoying to have hair in your mouth. I'd rather have hair in my eye than hair in my mouth.- No. No. I'd rather have hair under my arms, than hair in my mouth. Ehm, So the song's name is Running With The Wolves!" Aurora is not easy to translate, as she often interrupts herself and trails off sentences without finishing them. I tried to give it a go anyway though. You're welcome warriors.

Saw Zeppelin, The Who, Yes, Tull, ELP, Pink Floyd, McCartney and the like here in NYC, MSG. And all I can say after all these years is this girl is right up there for the best Live shows I've seen. Now don't be a weenie and misinterpret this as she is in their league or better. But she is up there memorably for the sheer cool live show. Just great songs and energy and something different.

She is a better performer and more importantly her music/lyrics have a much broader and deeper and more important scope. She is and lives her music and has the courage and desire to share it all--- much of it very painful.

@@esthergutierrez931 I really don't recall, and she has A LOT of interviews out there and voice sessions where she talks to the hosts about various things. I just recall having KZbin flipping automatically through Aurora-related videos for a couple of hours once and hearing her talk about that in one of them, thinking "that sounds about right." It was interesting to me because there is that element in a lot of arts; sort of being able to put your Ego to sleep and let the rest of you take back over for a bit. It's part of what makes good art so powerful and compelling, its sort of 'unsocialized' humanness. So I felt like it was probably a good idea from the perspective of a stage artist not to look too closely at themselves from offstage with their everyday eyes. It stuck with me.

I am 4 months from my 79th birthday and eat and drink music across the full music spectrum be it jazz country blues pop and have seen in person or on film or video thousands of performers. I just can not stop watching this musical magician. She lives her songs and shares the joy and the pain no holds barred. She transports us to a better place. The importance of her and her music cannot be understated as it has enormous scope and unlimited importance for each of us and the planet. Watch AURORA HAIK video and you will see and hear that she believes deep in her soul that her muic can make the world a better place. She is raw and honest and has the couragee to share her feelings with us even in a song like So Quiet which I interpret as a violent act against her will so i take it to mean savage beating or rape--= love is wild she sings. sometimes too wild. Her song you Cant Eat Money is part of lyric is about the life of the planet being at stake. A handful of amzing performers out there--- Gimash Angelina Diana and Aurora. And for me she stands above them all and will continue to grow in every meaningful way, An angellic mesmerizng beautiful soul is now among us. Watch and listen.

It's always a wee bit baffling to me to hear her talk more recently about her rather strong dislike of Conqueror. I mean, she closed almost every show with it back in the day....and always looked like she LOVED singing it. She always had a huge grin and would dance like a maniac to it. She certainly seemed to be having fun and enjoying the song. But even as recently as a few months ago in an interview, she claimed that's the one "mistake" of her career, and she vowed that never again would she go along with a song, or even a single verse, she wasn't 100% on board with. She even specified that 98% wasn't enough. She wants 100% control over how her music ends up being. On one hand, I love that about her....her fierce commitment to total independence and creative freedom, not giving an inch...ever. On the other hand.....idk, Conqueror is a good song lol! It's fun. But even though she seems to have lightened up a bit on her loathing of that song, even now....she still seems to merely tolerate it as most. I'm actually quite curious what it is about that one song that irks her _that_ much... I'd be interested to hear her expound on what it is, musically, that bothers her so much about it. Because it's oddly contradictory to watch these old live shows....where she certainly _seems_ to be having the time of her life singing and dancing along to it.

Perhaps her dislike is more intellectual than truly musical. It can be an addition of various things. Personally, with what's shown in "Once Aurora", that's how I understand it (of course, that's a really short base to form an opinion). Wasn't this the “radio song” requested by her management and the record company? Without it, maybe she wouldn't have written it. Maybe being "pressured" to sing so often, to promote her music on TV shows for example, a song she didn't really decide to write on her own (so it's not totally "her music"), was the really unpleasant thing, more so than the song itself or the performing itself. Feeling obliged to do something can sometimes be unbearable, and generate a kind of hatred. Even if basically you don't really dislike this thing (here the song, or performing it), you can end up hating it, or rejecting it, completely. I guess we'll never know for (absolutely) sure...🙂

well she mostly says how grateful she is. she's so wonderful, isn't she? but at one point she talks about how she read somewhere that the gunk you get in your eye when you wake up contains urine. so she said she found it interesting that we are technically peeing while we are asleep. and she talked some about arm pit hair but basically says thank you before starting each of her sentences. that's basically the outline of what she said haha.
