Correction right here: This song was released approximately 10 years ago and got re uploaded 4 months ago. It fits the actual topic really good, but it doesn't stand in direct connection to it. As far as I understood, it's about the quota movement, but way longer ago. Please ignore my comments on the date of release I made in the reaction.

This was actually during 2013. That movement was called "Gonojagoron" movement (Mass awakening movement). Which was actually not. But that movement definitely did something to this country which we can say dividing a nation in two part. That was the starting of 2024's Bangla spring or the 2024's revolution. Because that 2013 movement was backed by the current fallen regime also some so called secular persons. In that movement they used the word "Rajakar" massively. In 2024 that same word was used again which took the quota movement to another level and ultimately made the regime fall. Though 2013's movement and 2024's movement is exactly opposite but both are linked.

Felani was a little girl from Bangladesh. She was killed by Indian forces on the border between India & Bangladesh back in 2011. Indian soldiers then hanged her deadbody on the border fence. Till today many civilians in the border areas often get killed by Indian border forces. India would never dare to do that until this government came to power back in 2009. The meaning of the whole verse was, "We never feel sad about Felani, instead we feel sad about the raped girl in India(who was raped in a train in 2012). Our woke women's rights theorists cry about the raped girl but not Felani."

I heard this song when i was in class 7. This song is so relevant currently Edit: wow every line hits so hard right now.Theres a mass arrest going on right now of students who went to protest. A 17 year old boy has been put to 7 day interrogation today🙂what my beloved country has become.i also fear i may get arrested since i went to the protests.Amjonota means commoners or the public btw

Amjonota means Normal people in Bangladesh..... Baagh- Tiger , mama- uncle and baagh mama means tiger uncle cause we Bangladeshi used to sing our kids lullaby about baagh mama. Just like a rhyme

Actually this song was made when this current goverenment started their regin of terror. Our basebaba couldn't bear it and made this song. There were a few incidents happening but our governemt were not paying any attention like killing childrens near border like Felani and many more but our government still don't pay any attention to this matter. Then the moment this government gained powered the first thing they started whoever criticised or took stand against the government either they were vanished or killed. All of these incidients turned into current rebel.
