Das ist doch gerade das Besondere an Frau Werneburg ... Sie ist Sopran und trotzdem versteht man jedes Wort ... und der bei vielen Sopranen häufig störende sogenannte Vokalausgleich ist bei ihr überhaupt kein Thema ! Ihre Kunst des Barockgesangs ist einfach in jeder Hinsicht zum Niederknien !

This fragment was actually taken from a Dutch documentary where different people told about their favorite part of the Matthäus. Then, the Nederlandse Bachvereniging played the part for them. So they are actually one of the few people in the audience it was especially performed for! The people in the close-ups are the story-tellers and the presentator of the documentary.
