Backyard rules at my home: House - Automatic keeper, Offside fence - 2 runs Legside fence - 2 runs Bowlers end fence - 4 runs Over the fence - 6 runs providing the batsman has to retrieve the ball, can't find the ball? then that batsman gets out with an automatic duck and end of game, When a batter gets out switch around, One hand one bounce catch applies Hit the car - out, Hit clothes and linen on the clothes line - out, Hit close or touch the window - out and the bowler gets an attempt to scone the batsman with the tennis ball while the batsman is facing the house, Smash the window, end of game and hide from mum the next 3 weeks.
