After reading a couple of testimonials, it becomes clear that surviving such a kind of hell was a mix of pure luck and strong willing to see another day. I was there in September, and it was quite a rainy day out there (while us fully dressed) that tourists were begging the guides to go to another location because the camp itself is located on a swamp and strong winds were blowing from all the directions that they could not bear it anymore. Imagine those who had to face it each and every day without food, warm clothes, and proper shelter.

What you cannot grasp from the pictures and description in the video is the enormous size of the Birkenau camp. For example the picture of the people standing on the rail siding behind the SS officers. That is about 1/2 mile from end to end so there are at least 10,000 people standing there. Hearing the numbers of people murdered there one cannot imagine the logistics involved with accomplishing that task in a relatively short period of time. It is beyond comprehension the scope of the crimes committed there. I visited Birkenau a few years ago but unlike most of my relatives taken there before me I left.

I've been to Auschwitz 1& 2 numerous times. From humble beginnings to a horrifying end. You definitely get a strange vibe walking through the old barracks them down at Birkenau seeing the wooden prisoner barracks and imagining how it must have been in Winter so thinly dressed. Scary place...a true death factory. And as if it were to be believed, Sobibor, Chelmno and Maijdanek, and Treblinka were even worse. Far worse.

"They all died of deliberate starvation". That is so unbelievably, deliberately cold.
@elvenkind60723 жыл бұрын
It was done on a larger scale in the Ukraine, during the Holodomor, where the Soviet Union removed all food from Ukraine and sold it off as exports, and thus starving up to 12 million people to death. This was just as cold, only not as widely talked of, and by some not known at all.
@ericfischer44583 жыл бұрын
What nonsense. It’s no secret that by then, Germany was in a desperate struggle for resources. They were barely able to feed their own soldiers.

@@ericfischer4458 Are you trying to make a point that because of low supplies, Nazi-Germany was justified by using starvation as a torture method/death sentence of death camp prisoners?
@ericfischer44583 жыл бұрын
@@elvenkind6072 was it truly deliberate or was this accusation mere propaganda? In September 1944, Amon Goetz was arrested by the SS for his actions while he was commander of Plaszow cc. @consmos3 жыл бұрын
@@ericfischer4458 I don't know...I'm going to trust Dr Felton on this one. Before any obvious comments about actions carried out by Nazis on prisoners, 'Deliberate' starvation implies such passive cruelty, as opposed to active cruelty. It's a different kind of cold, possibly because it's just so casual, patient, indifferent.

@@ryanbratoc. So very true. It’s always awesome to see a fellow Patriot, thank you. The CCP Democrats are very envious of Fascism, Communism, Socialism. It all has become Globalism in these modern days. Democrats are and have been at the heart of all of America’s problems. They wanted to keep Slavery. They keep people in there districts in squalor. (And they have Slaves coming threw what used to be our Southern Border) they just call them Refugees and illegal immigrants. (That’s were the Democrats get there free labor now) that’s why there so sensitive about border security. (They need there free labor so they can keep all the money they take threw there endless taxes on everything, they steal our money). Jim Crow (the guy who made the Jim Crow laws) was a Democrat Statesman from Alabama (I love Alabama, but they do have a rough past). And that same Jim Crow was the founder of the KKK. And with all this and more. The Democrats blame Pres. Trump and Conservatives for being Racist and evil people. Democrats blame all there crimes on Pres. Trump and on the people who love America. It’s all the Democrats that are guilty of all the crimes there blaming on us. There the guilty party, there just trying to divert that by blaming us for there crimes. Just like the Nazi’s did with the Reichstag fire and the horrible conditions Germany was in, in the 20s. (I’m not heart broken that the Nazi’s hunted down Communist. This is the only thing I like about the Fascist and Nazi’s) (Fascism is a political ideology, Naziism a religious Cult)(a very creepy Cult, or should I say Occult) they just went together very well. Leftism is very close and always has been close to the Dark Lord Lucifer. That’s why in every Leftist type of society there is constant suffering and pain and destruction. People don’t have rights or choice to do anything, Government in control of everything. No Free agency. That’s exactly what Lucifer wanted. And what God and Jesus is against. So there’s some Religious aspect for this. Anyway God bless you. And God Bless America. America will prevail. America First. MAGA forever
