In the Goddess Temple where I am a Priestess in Glastonbury men are deeply repected and women are aware of the things that you say here

That's beautiful. In the "temples" I got to know it looked the same....but in depth the women put themselves on a pedestal and wished to be worshipped whilst there have not been ready to worship a man the same way. Btw...I always wonder why we desire to be GODDESSES before we are even able to embody the feminine HUMAN.

@The_Art_of_Receiving in our Celtic tradition we are not aiming to be Goddess but to serve her, first as Melissa, then as Priestess. The fact that you put temple in inverted commas shows me that you have ot experienced a real temple. We work closely together with the Priests who in former times were called druids. The only difference between us and someone who is praying to God is the focus on the feminine divine. On a higher level of course the divine has no gender. Here in duality we can worship the aspect we feel most drawn to. At certain times of the year the feminine and the male are joined for example at Beltane. What you describe in your videos is celebrated in true Goddess spirituality. She is complete in Herself and loves all her creatures equally ❤

In my video, I talk about the phenomenon that has been spreading in my social media bubble for several years: every random woman starts offering “temples” where women celebrate themselves as “goddesses” - women who have never been in touch with their true devotional femininity. In that sense, what you describe has no relevance to what I am referring to. It's nice that you don't seem to know these “temples”, which for me are rather temples of female narcissism.

@The_Art_of_Receiving I would agree. A real temple for me is a place of worship of Goddess. Here in England they are officially recognised and registered as such, alongside churches, synagogues and mosques
