I've been pushing for this one... not just on your channel, but any reaction channel that handles these types of shows. So happy. Yes, there was a short lived American version of this show, and a British one that i have no idea how long it lasted. Yours is the best though.

Hamish and Andy are legends, would massively recommend their show 'Gap Year'. Two of the funniest guys in the world, don't get enough love internationally! Their podcast is also amazing

This was a huge influence on Murder in Successville and the US version, Murderville. Love it - more Aussie humour please! I love the insane Let the Blood Run Free but not sure that would suit your channel haha

As an American I had never heard of this show but the concept is a more advanced version of who's line. Brilliant concept

There was a short lived UK version of this, and Hamish actually featured on it a couple times! He had a good scene as a dead tennis player.

I'm british living in america and both Britain and America tried doing there own versions of this but neither lasted more than a few weeks

The only good ones were when Hamish appeared on them. I think it takes someone special to make the format work.

Could also go down the Hamish and Andy rabbit hole... or the NZ equivalent Jono and Ben

Oh, great call... if people like Hamish, then we open up the doors to so much!my vote is Caravan of Courage!

@@filmslate they are basically hamish and andy, had a radio show and tv show. They were put together when their seperate TV shows ended. They had a segment called next actor where they had a celebrity working in a shop with an earpeice being told what to do by them. See if you recognise any one in this playlist of theirs, else I recommend the Leigh Hart one. kzbin.info/aero/PLgWmadqZ9KaPMj1EnAJHoBQ-lVzTY5EPf

lol I loved that. Completely new to me, but what a great idea for a show. Hamish Blake seems so naturally funny, and I'd like to see more of his stuff for sure. Judging by the views on this video though, I'm not sure all your channel's fans agree. Ah, well. Nowt as queer as folk, as they used to say. Back in the day when people knew what it meant. Anyway, if you're going retro-Aussie, how about trying out some Agro clips? He was outrageous and hilarious.
@filmslate Жыл бұрын
Haha, yeah, I noticed the views weren't too kind to this clip! 😂 there were a couple of UK comedians who appeared on the show.. maybe I should have started with those guys to bridge the gap a little more haha. Oh yeah Agro, why does that keep slipping my mind 😅😅

@@filmslate - I've been watching quite a bit of this show since you posted this vid. It's really entertaining. The UK one is not as good, and the US version is... well, we all know about US remakes. Frank Woodley is great and many others too. The only Brits I've seen are Josie Long and Ross Noble (not a big fan of his). But yeah, I'm loving the Aussie version. Makes a nice change from the Aussie real crime docs I've been bingeing on lately. Oh, and the Aussie customs and immigration fly-on-the-wall docs too.

If you like a good true crime podcast, I recommend Case File.. it's Aussie, has plenty of Aussie crime stories but also from all around the world... stories are very well told, it's an addictive listen!

@@filmslate- I'm on it! Thanks for the recommendation, Michael. Sounds perfect to listen to late at night. Watched a documentary a few weeks back and damn if my old road, Gurner Street in St Kilda, didn't get itself a mention! Weird. Anyway, where have you guys been? We've been missing you. I watch a couple of other reaction channels, but there's no substitute for watching stuff with a couple of lovable Aussie guys. Truly.

As I (Michael) am responding to comments... Imma blame Blake for that one 😅
