Yep guilty before proven innocent. Kind of pathetic how this is how our legal society works… even for an alcohol test it’s always your guilty even before you do it, if you don’t do it your guilty of failing to provide a test (even though it’s a REQUESTED test). But then again if we built modern car sites with skid pans and massive parking lots dedicated to the newer generation less of this stuff would happen. I don’t mean a track more like a spot where people with cars can hang around with maybe a skid or long section out the back just for this stuff, that way people can hold conventions etc but they need to be in the middle of big suburban places but far enough away for noise (sort of lakeside out the back of my house - although the Karen’s will always complain but I freaking love it). Also now the damn cops call it incentivising if you go to watch and slap u with a fine… so we’re now guilty of watching even though they don’t know what we are thinking of the situation (could be good or bad things, we may dislike what they are doing but no you get fined no matter…)

I will never defend bastards but lets not be blind. Someone in possession of the car in question, in something more than a conventional garage plus there is footage of the driver and most likely he was reported, so there must be a witness or at lest a report which on top of all the rest is at least reasonable doubt to hold him for obstructing an investigation. If it's your vehicle you're assumed to be the driver. All they have to proove is that the vehicle is involved and yours. Its then up to you to proovr If you arn't the one driving. There are also a couple snapshots in the video with cleae view of driver and passenger. They already know its him

No. As the registered owner of a vehicle you are statutorily obliged to name the operator at the time of an offence. Failing to do so in NSW turns it into a recurring offence. Ie, the form of demand is read to you, you fail to answer, that's an offence. It's then read to you again, fail to answer etc. Gets expensive quickly. Long and short, don't drive like a fucking bell end on the street and you won't ever have to worry!

This dude knows how to drive. It's like watching a ballerina's movements, or ten pin bowler, you know how a pro moves vs the amateur. He and me also thought of all the people he could have killed and it took about 0.5s to realise the answer of 0, why? Skilled driver, just look how as he first approaches the parked cars he doesn't amp the drifting up but brings it back and at no moment did he spin out or lose control. How many covid boosters have you had just out of curiosity. :)

Didn't seem dangerous to me, maintained car control, toned it down on approach to parked cars and if a car came the other way probably would have ceased the drift until they passed also.

just because you drive a camry and have no taste in cars doesn't mean it should be crushed. Not every car needs an arbitrary, made up "road-worthy" certificate in order to justify its existent. It would be a perfectly fine track car. But since you don't understand the concept of "fun" i doubt you even know what that means.
