hey just something ive worked out my self. boil slices of halloumi about 1 and a half cm thick for 5 mins before frying for an extra gooey center.

We have such a massive Greek population in Melbourne that Greek cuisines as well as Italian, Thai, Chinese and countless other cuisines have been somewhat embraced culturally.

***** Australia is a melting pot of a lot of different cultures. It has it's standard culture but there are a lot of influences from outside, especially in food. I'm a born and bred Australian with an Irish and German background (if that makes any sense), but I love Greece and Italy and South and Central America. Most of all, the food. The women and music in some parts aren't bad either. :-)
