Honestly..... I am kind of speechless? These guys are so special. I feel so lucky to be at a stage where I have the time to get to know knew Kpop groups. I mean... I have always known about Stray Kids and for some reason, purely just because Chan & Felix are Aussie, I just loved them from day one. Like an instant connection. But I was genuinely blown away by what I watched today. I absolutely LOVED IT!!!

@@melaniereacts You _really_ should watch the Thunderous trailer, if nothing else. It's a full-on movie trailer, with dialogue and action scenes and everything. And like all the album trailers, it gives info about the theme of the album (most of which we just spin around theorizing about until the album releases and we're able to actually see the connections). It's also narrated by Felix and overflowing with inside jokes/references (which are funny enough even without context but which will be a hundred times funnier if you watch this again down the road after you've gotten to know the members).

19:57 Yes that was felix in thunderous with the black side hair, felix had 3 different color hairs in thunderous, blonde, blonde/black, and silver. Felix also had these same 3 different hair colors for the live stages, don't worry he's not repeatingly coloring his hair he is using hair spray or wash out color.

SKZ has more than 50 M/Vs and more than 100 songs so they have songs of any genre (but yeah most of them are super intense and saturated - SKZ contents lots of colours and energy - but they do have some ballads and really light sad songs as well). And I recommend you to watch their performance videos from studio CHOOM for example and their music shows performances! And thank you for your nice reaction on SKZ ^^

first of all, happy birthday! i rarely comment but i really love your reactions! the Oddinary trailer is for the next comeback on March 18th and it's probably linked to previous music videos (in lots of kpop groups' mvs there's lore, like BTS' hyyh). About the whole noeasy thing, antis used to say stray kids music was noisy and 'construction music', hence the construction site in god's menu and the Noeasy album! Also, if youre wondering about the film director, it's Bang Jaeyeob if I'm not wrong, who also directed God's Menu and Back Door. Btw, 19:56 it's Felix! if you're curious about different styles, you could check out Winter Falls, Scars (Japanese single), Mixtape: OH and Neverending Story (there's a live version). I always say that BTS and BlackPink were my gateway k-pop. Now Stray Kids is my favorite with ATEEZ being a very close second. Have you checked out "Kingdom: Legendary War" yet? Stray Kids and ATEEZ both participated in that show and there are three performances where they work with BTOB that are just lovely.

I would recommend you watch the trailer for No Easy. That theme was tied up at the end with their MAMA 2021 performance. The other thing I love about these guys is everytime they do a performance in an award show or big performance like Christmas, they change up the song and it’s always amazing. They are geniuses when it comes to that because since they produce their music, they arrange it to fit the performance. The only down fall is we can’t buy it. Please react to 'domino' (a b-side song from noeasy album) dance practice, it's one of the top viewed dance practice in kpop last year. I also suggest reacting to their sub-unit songs from the NOEASY album, 'red lights' (Bang Chan and Hyunjin), 'surfin' (Changbin, Lee Know, Felix), and 'Gone away' (Han, I.N, Seungmin). Each songs have different genres which makes it even better. Also, each group made the song and also planned the M/V for it (they have a video called howl in harmony explaining the creative process that went through doing each songs).

At the beginning Changbin raps about how there is everything in the store, meaning they have something for everyone. And how their music and work is just good on itself, and they don't need a secret ingredient. And they put the process of creating their work in it too. It's amazing how even the scenes are fitting this concept. The laboratory, the kitchen, the construction site; they all have to do with experimenting to create something and creating it. The racing cars (= competition) come when they enter the singh part, when they talk about racing against others and even pass them. And you're right. The transitions are fire. (I hope i got everything right out of memory, feel free to correct me fellow stays)

Stray Kids comeback trailers usually are not like music teasers, they come out a month before the comeback and teasers come out a couple days before comeback. Oddinary is the album name and tt is not yet unveiled. I'm really excited to follow you on your stray kids journey. They always introduce their comebacks with a 'Album trailer'. So the first video yoy watched was them announcing they are doing a comeback, setting the theme and announcing release date + album name hence no music. After that they are releasing a few 'Unveil tracks' which are b-sides that are given short mv like videos, some of them which may get a full mv once the album is released. Just before the comeback we will get an actual title track mv teaser.

I understand what you mean by kpop groups and so much content I started last year with BTS and also said didn't want to get into others groups because it was so much content but I saw a video of Felix of STRAY KIDS and fell in love so it's been six months with them and I also like Ateez because of Kingdom interactions with them. I used to be a big bts fan too and im really grateful for them getting me into new styles of music but im so glad i opened myself up eventually to other groups cause you miss out on so much talent if you dont. This way I found out that skz's music is even more my style than the more traditional pop that bts does for example. I love how intense the title tracks are but how divers the bsides can be just anything to listen depending on mood. Its great to see an army like you be open to them too, cause they are so many people these days hating on skz cause they feel intimitated by them. Thank you for saying you just have to respect different styles even if its not your music cus thats exactly it. i still to this day respect bts too even if their music is not my thing anymore.

skz (stray kids) always make a trailer with the name of the album announcing the comeback and then, with a few days before the comeback they start releasing the teasers of the songs from the album, example: two weeks before the comeback, every day a teaser of some song from the album comes out and when there are two/three days left for their comeback, the INTRO (a video of their creating/producing and rehearsing process) and the title track teasers. and yes, the trailers for the albums are very well produced and cinematic, I highly recommend you check them out (no need to react if you don't want to, but it's worth watching)

Some of my favorite songs I recommend are: red lights, secret secret, sorry I love you, silent cry, grow up, scars (jp version), another day, cheese, easy, Christmas evel & domino. Also a lot of their older music is really nice. I tend to like more melodic songs with meaningful lyrics as well as songs with a rock feel. I wasn't into rap at all before stray kids but I've warmed up to it a lot because of han & changbin. @@melaniereacts NP! Oh and if you listen to secret secret & silent cry, I would recommend doing that in the same video! Most stays believe silent cry is a response to secret secret so they're best reacted to together. I fully believe that theory! Basically secret secret is written by Han, about struggling with mental health in silence, while silent cry is about being there for someone who struggles in silence. But what really sells me on it (other than the direct connection with the lyrics ofc 😂) is that Lee Know (who's very close with Han) has mentioned silent cry is his favorite muuultiple times even though the songs he usually plays in vlogs and lives are very different. It's just overall really heartfelt & genuine and makes you feel The Bond (like most skz stuff tbh). Another really important song to stay is "Grow up" bc they wrote it for stay. Its also just really heartwarming... (their love for their fans feel so damn genuine, it's hard to even explain 😩 Lee know even reminds stays to eat 1-2 times a day almost every single day 💀)

They performed Thunderous in so many different costumes during the music show season. And then during the shows in December (I think) they changed up Thunderous so many ways. It was so fun to watch to see how they would do it next time. My favorite was on Christmas Day (Link below) where they turned Thunderous into pretty much a jazzy Broadway show. So darn amazing. They are known for their fantastic stage performance. They RARELY lip sync, they like singing live. They do have a backing track for those times when they have really tough dance moves to sing to but they usually are live. I recommend any and all stage performances of that you can find (the big shows like the MAMA award show) because no two are the same. Also, Hyunjin did two solo dance performances. One was to a Billie Eillish’s song When the Party’s Over and the other was a self choreographed performance to Playing with Fire. One other live performance Stray Kids killed was for the MAMA awards in 2020. They were totally dissed for all awards for that show but at the last minute (I believe about a week before the show) they were asked to perform. I think they were a bit ticked judging by the fierceness of the performance. Definitely worth the watch. Any songs, shows or content is worth watching. But I’m biased. Sorry for the long comment. I know this is an older video but I made the opening of gods menu my alarm because it’s loud, but I did it that way so I wouldn’t get sick and tired of hearing the song since I’d hate for that to happen to me with any of skz’s music Edit: it’s effective, changed it Sunday February 5th and I woke up at like 8 am to get ready for a con the started at 11 because I needed at least an hour to get ready and then wait for my friend to pick me up at 10 (actually got me at 10 : 30 to 10 : 40 ish) and then from then on with school I’ve been setting two alarms one at 5 : 40 and the other at 6 am and I’ve been getting up to the 5 : 40 one pretty effectively, but if I keep staying in my bed and not walking around then I’m not going to wake up until like 6 : 30 again because my parents come get me then, but I’m at least waking up because before it was so hard for me to wake up to any sort of alarm so it’s effective, if you need something loud to wake you up, i recommend using the opening of God’s menu to the part where Changbin says the first line before starting to rap

These videos are the complete opposite of one shots. One shots take place on one set, and filming doesn't stop. What you are referring to is the transitions between different scenes. So many different scenes, hair and clothing changes. They have very smooth transitions.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! 🎉🎊 "God's Menu" is an absolute problem for me in the best possible way. I first heard "God's Menu" on Nov 1st 2021. When Spotify's wrapped dropped on Dec 1st, it was my most played for the year with 178 plays. That song is pure energy. Sometimes you gotta throw that sorta thing on replay and get hype af, you know? Also, I love that the vast majority of the "God's Menu" choreography is cooking related. 😂 I don't really dabble on the boy group side of things, for the most part, but Stray Kids is definitely one of the boy groups I have a few songs that were instant playlist. Time for a shameless plug. If you move into the realm of girl groups, I'm obligated to pitch the group I've become absolutely obsessed with. Their name is *Dreamcatcher!* They are a seven member K-pop girl group that debuted in 2017. Known for their darker concepts (serious, dystopian, and/or spooky) and for being the only group to incorporate rock into all of their title tracks in some manner. Their earlier rock sound was heavily influenced by J-rock/pop (anime intro vibes). As time went on, their rock sound evolved into a more modern rock sound and they started mixing/blending in other genres. Almost all of their MVs are story driven. Some storylines span multiple MVs and others are standalone. All amazing vocalists (even their two rappers). Easily one of the most unique groups you'll experience in K-pop. If that sounds like something you'd be interested in, I'd suggest one of these two songs as a starter depending on what interests you more: - "BEcause" (2021) - Latest title track. Creepy. Song lyrics are about obsessive love and the MV concept involves doppelgangers. The MV and choreography were partially inspired by, and have some references to, the movie "Us". - "Scream" (2020) - First song in their "Dystopia" trilogy. The trilogy addresses and calls out anonymous harassment, bullying, and obsession with technology to try and escape that tough reality. It's all handled with well thought out lyrics and a load of symbolism in the MVs. From what you mentioned of your normal vibe, they might not be 100% for you, so if you decide to give them a chance, a HUGE pre-emptive thank you. I will mention that their dark/rock concept is only a requirement for their title tracks so their B-sides cover an unnecessary amount of other genres. Can recommend some, if you'd like. Stray kids do trailers for the whole era and comeback a month before it drops. they will release teasers for tt a few days before the cb. They also release unveil tracks of most of their b sides which is like mv snippets before the album drops. Check out the domino unveil track to get the idea!

Someone else said it before but you have to check out the "The First Take"-Performances of StrayKids, also their Kingdom-Performances are really good (sadly Hyunjin had to miss out on them, because he was on Hiatus, however he is in their encore-stage "Miroh"). Also their B-Sides are really good and a lot of them have MV's, Performances or little selfmade-videos from SKZ.
