Steve thank you for everything you do. Not just for me, but the community as a whole. So my story goes like this: Three weeks ago I was sat in my car whilst my wife just nipped in to our children's school to collect them. I suddenly felt really hot and faint, tingling in my toes and fingers, massive heart palpitations. Anyway, I barely made it home as I felt terrible the entire way. I went to bed early in the hope I'd wake up feeling better, but 6am the next morning I felt even worse than the previous day. It got so bad that I had to go to A&E and whilst waiting had a massive heart palpitations again to the point I collapsed on the floor in there. I felt everything going black, like my vision was sort of closing, I couldn't speak or anything or wave my hands for help. I convinced myself that any minute my heart was going to stop and it would be all over. 33 years old and I was about to die, I convinced myself. All I had was my phone and I messaged my wife this exact sentence "I'm so sorry, I love you. Please look after our children". I couldn’t write anything more meaningful as nothing was functioning correctly. Then things became even darker and I somehow just saw them and for those who have seen Rambo where he crawls on his forearms, well I did that and pulled myself to the nurses desk. Pulled myself up and said "I think I'm having a heart attack". They quickly rushed me into a side room, hooked me up to an ECG machine, took bloods and absolutely everything was clear. No heart attack, no low blood sugar, nothing. I've since seen three different doctors and the general consensus is I had a panic attack. It seems to be caused by stress. I think I've probably been doing too much to be honest. I'm a poultry and waterfowl farmer and have just so much to do all the time it seems almost impossible to unwind and take your foot off the gas. That's where people like Steve come in. Steve I can never repay you for helping me through everything. The worry I have had over the past few weeks is eased from even a 20/30 min video of a man on the other side of the world. I think the lesson we should all take is perhaps try to be a bit kinder to ourselves and try to take the time to relax and breathe. More importantly I didn't even know I was stressed, I mean I have a wonderful wonderful life, I love my family and my work so why would I be stressed? I didn't even realise that I was and I thinky body told me in the most unfortunate way. For those of you who saw UFC fighter Paddy Pimblett's speech where he spoke about mental health, please please talk. Talk to anyone. Steve I'll forever be in your debt. And folks, let's all look out for one another 🙏 Love to you all ❤

@@Kenturi88 Cheers for the kind words Joe. I'm surviving for now mate. I'm on medication that basically stops my heart from getting out of control again. It's a ridiculous cycle to be honest. Constantly worried about "Is it going to happen again", and knowing that actually your heart is completely fine and it's just the mind convincing you otherwise. It sounds ridiculous I know but that's what happens. I find playing footy with my son difficult, because obviously your heart rate raises and you think "argh it's happening again", when it isn't 🤦♂️

Hey Aussie Man, Just wanted to say a quick thank you. I've been following your channel for years now, and I don't think there's any other asmrtist that I've stuck with as long as you, Steve. Your videos never fail to relax me. I have a high stress life as most people do, and your videos are such a helpful relaxation tool! Thank you so much. Have a wonderful day:)

Every sound created here is a wave of triggers. Besides the black mat helping to keep the screen dim, the texture adds to the sound effects. Even though it is rare that the mat is used as a trigger 😉

Here's an absolutely random fun fact nobody needed: in Germany, we have two types of Aldi. Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd. The two brothers who initially created the brand ended up going separate ways and creating two brands, which were (and still are) independent of one another. Now, here comes the fun bit: There's a war in Germany (not literally!!!) about which Aldi is better. We are VERY passionate about it! I live in Thuringia, and we have Aldi Nord, so I'm absolutely team Aldi Nord. I've been to one Aldi Süd in my life and I have to say, 0/10, would not recommend. No atmosphere, too narrow. In one word: nope. Glad I haven't been on holiday in the South since. But seriously... Forget West and East Germany, there is only the border between Aldi Nord and Aldi Süd. Now, what y'all know as Aldi is actually Aldi Süd over here. As mentioned above, the brands have different owners, logos, store brands, even layouts. England's and Ireland's Aldis are also technically Aldi Süd. Aldi Nord on the other hand is known as Trader Joe's outside of Germany.

That's actually really interesting, thanks for sharing!!

Here's something you'll have most likely never heard, and will never hear again. I am gaining a lot of interest in voice acting and right now I'm practicing a higher, almost feminine voice to try and get my vocal chords used to the strain, kind of like working out I guess. At the same time, I'm trying to get good at a semi-aussie accent. So here I am half 11 at night watching Australian youtubers and streamers trying to get down a 'female' voice and an Australian accent. So yeah. Just thought I'd say lmao
