Sorry for the loss! I felt this song has found it's true purpose,when I read your words. AR Rahman lost his mother and it was a difficult time during the corona lockdown down having to bury her in his farm house ,the family was unable to fulfill the cultural rites. This song is a dedication for all those who lost their loved ones. Maaja is AR Rahman & his mother's contribution to the world every independent musician,singer , composers are part of their musical forest . Arivu's lyrics and his grandmother's narratives are a dedication to the lost lives of workers who worked in tea plantations under the brutality of British colonialism. Together it's a beautiful dance of reminding radical acceptance of grief into celebration.

Hey guys thanks for the video... This song is a T(h)amil song the very ancient language in the world.T(h)amil is the language of T(h)amilnadu that is located in the southern India and also the language of Srilankan T(h)amils (Eela T(h)amils).This is a song that tells us about the early development of human civilization by Tamil people and also it tells that the nature is not only for the people it is also for all the living things such as animals.If anyone question what is the need for this song in this time?Here is the answer Tamil civilization is world's most ancient civilization. Archeological evidences proves that it is almost 20000 years old civilization with the oldest language.It means very old land with more natural resources with world's oldest tribes. Almost 100 plus world languages has tamil words in it. This ancient clan is being tortured by the present ruling goverment of India in the name of development. The government is attacking fishermen and farmers whom are very ancient clans and also the other people in Tamilnadu.This is happening vigorously from 2014 by the ruling party BJP. Many protests were done by the people against the activities of government but no changes were seen . So this song is strongly insisting that the nature is not our property. It is from our ancestors to our generation through us. And also it is not only for us it is for all the living things..Its our duty to not to spoil nature and to protect the nature.. And for this song to become famous this is made like a kind of african feeling in it. Because in the white countries they knew Africa as a Tribe country so if this song has the feel in it, it is easy to convey everyone that this song is a tribe song by an ancient language speaking tribal community... This song is the exposure of our sufferings and also the nature's sufferings... Thankyou guys... Let live the environtment❤️ Don't spoil nature...

The title “Enjoy Enjaami” has so much of meaning. To the people who are unfamiliar about the title, “Enjoy” is combination of two words, En + joy (thaayi), narrated by the Rapper Arivu. “En” means “My” in tamil, "thaayi" is actually "Mother" in Tamil. Combinedly it is "My Mother" ... “Enjaami” is combination of two words, En + Jaami. “En” means “My” in tamil, “Jaami” is actually “Saamy” it means “God” in Tamil, combinedly “My God”. “My God” i.e. "Enjaami" is how elderly people call their grand children or their loved ones in Tamil Culture which is so so cute to hear that. Even the farmers and labours use to call their Masters (Landlords) as "Enjaami" as a respect giving. Likewise singer Arivu is called everytime as “Enjaami” by his Grandmother Valliammal affectionately in real life. "My mother, My God, My Nature, and that's my freedom", this is the creation of "Enjoy Enjaami".. That respected Grandmother Valliammal is shown in this ENJOY ENJAAMI official video song at the end … take a look… ROCK ENJOY ENJAAMI…

There is a line in the lyrics where it says 'All the forests we have now are not created by us but it was created by bird droppings and we did nothing to create forests', we have to co exist with all the living beings and we have no rights to destroy forests. We can pat on our backs and say we did not destroy any forests but all the wooden furniture, wooden doors in our houses did contribute to afforestation (I am referring to me too) it's time we start to make a change. I can't expect anyone else to change but I can change.

This is probably the best reaction to this song I have seen so far. Love how you were able to dissect the song and observe every aspect the music, the lyrics and the video. Though made in Tamil the concept is universal. Hope the song goes more international. Kudos to Dhee, Arivu, the composer Santhosh Narayanan, the video director and the entire team. Some trivia for you, the singer Dhee is composer Santhosh Narayanan’s step daughter and she was born & raised in Sydney, Australia...

This reaction just epitomized the difference between a male and female reactor. You got the woman understanding the emotions and meaning while trying to stop herself from tearing up while the guy is just grooving in his way and waving his arms next to her face lol. Both right in their own way of reacting but just something to notice.

The song is mostly about vandalism of nature and exploitation of the people who were native tribes who started civilisation..his interview arivu has mentioned that his grandma was also one among the people who left the native lands to work in tea plantations abroad during colonisation
@xenzorygames41163 жыл бұрын
I think the concept of was that , but I do not think it actually mentioned that it has been mentioned as if we are draining so much resources from Nature and why are we destroying things around us that has been passed down to us from generations to generations (that is what that "Oppari" was for though).

You sound so safe with your mediocre statement,it is all about exploitation of nature and innocent living beings,they are not meant to be killed cruelly to serve human's creed,so be it chicken,cows,goats,pigs,and the list goes.Can you give up eating them?The pain and agony they going through every single second across the planet,man simply a cruelest being.Realise that first before thumping your own chest.Tamizh means Uyir,encompassing every layer of life. Jeevakaruniyam to all living beings is our absolute tatva of life,spiritually.

Tanya's reaction is so naturally human, despite not knowing the language. I m one of those millions who got so addicted to the music, voice and lyrics of t song which makes us hear in repeat mode, many times giving different emotions in mind. Seeing reviews of ppl from different parts of t world. They say music doesn't need a language. True but additionally if we google to understand, then this becames a monumental creation by humankind, probably one of t most harmless payback to nature and ancestors (all thathas and pattis :). This sing should go more heights globally.
