I'm new to Age of Empires 4 and I feel so out of touch with it's modes and how units counter. As well as starting out with resource gathering. Just wondering what videos you have for tips when playing.

I was went from "why would you pick french on this map" to "I gotta play french on mountain pass" lol

Thing is, this only works if your enemy is scared to puah you. Idk why faye didnt have a longbow mass in feudal... She just stayed in base and allowed this fast imp to come. If it was mongols or chinese vs the french, feudal rushes would force the french player to match units and you cant do this strat anymore

@@khuntasaurus88 I agree... mountain clearing imo is not a good 2TC boom map. It's always about a quick sacred victory. But I think she was hoping to out boom the French and win the long game i.e. play to england's strength because Ppaw is a way better player. But this fast imp move was very unexpected so i'd say it's easier to say make an army when you don't have god vision.

So which one is better Berkshire palace or Red palace?

They’re different in their own ways. Berkshire palace has greater range, a whopping 15, with incendiary arrows, meaning a cannon on its own will not be able to safely destroy it. Whilst Red Palace has greater damage with the Arbalest bolts, yet lower range. They’re both good in their own way.

i think it depends also on the map. on wide/open maps with low recourses or not much trade options i would prefer barkshire. also it depends what kind of endgame you getting. if it's a heavy lategame, you would like to kill heavy units faster.
