You need to invest in a set of tin snips. It's a cool addition to your shop. I already have two twelve ton jacks for trailer leveling. If I'm lucky I can find some pieces of steel to make one

@Austeration I am descended from three master millwrights. So I more or less learned at the feet of the masters. I never became a millwright, working at an electronic assembly plant, before reaganomics sent it over seas. Then 30 years in an information gathering service. So we had to move when the rents doubled. We had to settle for a very badly maintained house trailer. The thing hasn't been properly leveled for decades. So I'm making a water level, and got the jacks. All I need do is measure and find the tallest pier. Then set up the jacks on either side of the other piers, and very carefully jack them up to that height. The place is a nightmare. They remodeled it, and eliminated cabinet space. The remodel overloaded the electrical system , so I have two dead circuits. They screwed up the kitchen plumbing so it clogs all the time. The furnace, water heater and swamp cooler need replacing. The only good thing is the roof leaked and they replaced the roof with one of those plastic covering. I'm a caregiver and have my hands full. So repairing this place is like trying to eat a big sandwich. It has to be done one bite at a time.
