Hey Ron, my dad worked with George out of S. Porcupine from the 50s to 1966. He name was Al Scully. As a wee lad, I clearly remember visiting Mr. Charity’s house and seeing his home built plane. ❤😊

@@ronjcharity The bush was thick yes, even after the forest fire in the '80s and the big one last year, I ended up walking out of the forest to wade through the river until it looked like I was a straight line on GPS, and went back through the bush, there are a few narrow but deep rivers or creeks that almost make a circle around the crash . Last year's fire also made the bogs dry and walkable instead of quicksand. The bugs in the Hudson Bay/James Bay lowlands I think are worse than in the Yukon, northern bc, or northern Ontario. You can save yourself a bunch of trouble and boat until you're in a straight line with the wreck and head into the woods save you a big muddy, sooty buggy hike. I planned on boating in but the satellite photos made the river look waaaaay rougher than I actually was. The river was glass smooth taunting me for hiking.
