A lot of commentary recently about his voice changing after the Elvis role, but it’s not much different at all here, 6 years ago. I really feel like his voice now is pretty much unchanged from his natural baseline.

Well he's a lot younger here too. I think the elvis voice will stay a while but masters of the air director said he knew Austin was still elvis when he got to set in London. I don't think elvis can be shaken off in a few days. Most movies take 2-6 months to film and then you're done. For Austin it was more than two years and now he's reliving it in dozens of interviews. He filmed Masters for a year. I guess his voice is now lower.

I want to show this video to everyone who is said he is still using his Elvis voice. No he isn't! This is pre Elvis, his natural timbre already had some similarities with Elvis. He always had a huskier voice which has a slight southern sounding twang and you hear it's already fairly deep. He just got older and his voice deepened further. Training his voice for Elvis probably altered his vocal chords too.

Well, in the end after several years, Austin eventually did outsmoulder the guys from Teen Wolf. Hehe. He has taken the world by storm when Elvis came out.
