We take our restored Austin Healey BJ8 to the All British Field Meet at the VanDuesen Gardens in Vancouver and have a look around the show.

RMO, your videography is every bit as authentic as your automotive acumen. I started watching your junk E-Type rebuild and have discovered a world I hardly knew existed. The enthusiasm you have for these cars and the people who love them will be a testament for the "hobby".

It's "Van Dusen". Love your clips and watch them all the time. Hope to drop in some time when I get back to the beautiful Island. Rob in Seattle

What a nice car! I had a MK IV Austin Healey Sprite in the same color, BRG with a black interior. I have always been a big fan of those Smith's mechanical gauges. The MGB that I had was similar to the blue one you were behind as you were driving in, red with black interior.

Very nice...looks like you have better conditions for enjoying your classic cars than we do in the UK

Thanks for a great video. In England we pronounce Caterham as 'KAY-ter-um'!

A very nice Healey. That's when cars had style and individual identity. Today, what a bunch of computer crap. And you know what? My then 1966 GTO with the 428cu. in. 6 pack engine got better fuel mileage than does my 2008 Doge Charger with a 3.5 litre V-6. It currently gets 12mpg in town. Always put correct gas in your classic car.

What a treat! Thank you. There was a bright red big Healey on my milk round that I lusted over as a lad in Hillingdon. Never forgot that beauty!

Hello Richard. I have just seen this older video. A wonderful jurney! I am restoring a BJ8 at the moment and it should also painted dark britisch racing green. Do you know if your friend's Healey ist painted with a single coat green or is it dual with a clear coat on top? It ist very brilliant shining. Best regards from Germany, Thomas.

Another amazing post and again I thank you from Edmonton. I'm going to take a long shot and guess you live behind the tweed curtain in Oak Bay? Forgive me if I'm wrong. If not, then Millstream Rd, where all the old car parts used to reside when I lived in Esquimalt. My physics teacher Marty live right across the street from Millstream Auto Parts. He pretty much had first pick of any British cars that ended up there.
