My gal and I caught Austin's other band the Hi-Jivers at the Campus Jax joint along with a couple of other bands. The venue was packed. You must have some spoiled fans in TN. Please come out to SoCal.

Austin John continues to just be killer in this style of blues. It’s nice to see there will be a generation of players that keep doing it as Anson Funderburgh, Jimmie Vaughan, Mike Morgan and company get closer to retirement. If you dig Austin’s playing, make sure you are wise to Johnny Moeller and Shawn Pittman.

Fantastic band, especially Austin John who's one of the best blues guitarists I've heard in decades. Why isn't that bar packed? They're in the wrong location and should go where the people will pack the joint.

That's Nashville. All the tourist bars downtown are packed. Everything else is basically empty. The musicians wanna play and don't care who's there. For hardcore music lovers like me, it's heaven.
