The first movie in which Mike Myers used that Scottish accent was actually a really funny, often forgotten romantic comedy called So I Married an Axe Murderer... I highly recommend it. He's the lead, of course, but also plays his own father, which is where the accent comes into play, and the dad character steals every scene he's in. It's such a funny movie.

He also played his father on TV before that, on SNL. "If it's not Scottish, it's CRAP!"

Mike Myers wrote the character of Fat Bastard for Chris Farley. But after Chris died, he decided to play it himself instead of trying to find a different actor.
