​@@benschmitt7035 Obviously now no one wants to trade him but the first month of last season a lot of Laker fans werent happy with Austin because it looked like he didnt improve. He was averaging just 13ppg while shooting 45/30/85 the first month down from the previous season of 53/40/85. But i took it as he was just exhausted coming from FIBA play like 6 weeks before the season started. Then when DLo had that month long stretch averagin 22ppg and 6ast while shooting 45% from 3 on like 10 attempts per game prior to the trade deadline Laker fans were calling for Austin to be traded for Dejounte Murray.

DLo got nothing to prove, he is the veteran of the team been in the team the longest and was MVP with Nets, even AD never got MVP of the league before. DLo is the pure-pointguard kind of like Fischer was for the 3peat Lakers team, Fish was Kobe's closest friend helped him perform, like Pippen to MJ, like Manu to Duncan, like West to Baylor... like Klay to Steph... but only difference is Fish, Pippen, Manu, Klay they never been MVP in their entire career...
