For me its better frames on games that are struggling right now. Also I hate the blurry image in some games performance mode. PRO fixes that by running quality mode in 60 fps instead of 30.

The best combo is PC + Switch... I just sell my PS5 after buying all of my games on Steam and plug it on my LG 65 120hz. The best move ever. NO PS+, the controller I want (Love 8bitdo) and running RDR2 4k 120fps, not a fucking PS4 version. PC = liberty.

No, the PS5 pro use RDNA4 GPU with harware accelerated AI upscaler. This is not a software lock. And the chip is bigger and require more power and more thermal dissipation capabilities.

So for a console that is between 10-15% (would that be fair to say?) greater performance which in these days of diminishing returns in terms of actual noticeable visual improvement isn't a huge leap in fidelity is 699.99 of the finest Great British Sterlings. Add a disc drive (ffs) and a second controller (not even a pro controller, again ffs) and a stand to place the console vertical (I mean c'mon FFS SONY! Surely 3rd party and 3d printed parts to the rescue) comes to a total of another £194.97. In total we are looking at £849.96. Oh dear we are entering a new age of console pricing. Thank you covid and Bitcoin miners for showing these companies like nVidia that they can get away with much greater prices. If it wasn't for the release of GTA VI I wouldn't even be considering a console. Sheesh, I thought having a PC hobby was going to bankrupt me.

So far, its game library is incredibly weak, and I see nothing on the horizon that interests me. I'm not paying $780 (or even $200 for that matter) to get minor improvements in 3 games. The juice isn't worth the squeeze. Waiting for the PS6 is the smart play.

You can definitely hear it, especially with something like Demon Souls or Elden Ring, where the music isn't present at all times. Xbox SX has a special kind of putty to dampen the coil vibrations, so I was hoping they'd do the same for the PS5 Pro.

4:36 the series x is so much quieter, my launch day console is still dead silent, my 1 year old ps5 is a lot louder The Xbox design is so much functionally better than the ps5 (looks wise it depends on preferences)

Ps5 this time is a Ps5 pro with a 2tb drive (normally bought separately $150 -$200) and newer tech after 4 years sounds good

Playstation has a monopoly on digital sales, they're even more locked down than Xbox. Steam actually gives its users a reason to invest instead of relying on microtransactions for everything

I can tell you haven't read the Sony terms and conditions, you don't own the game anyway even on disks you are simply paying for the licence to play the games that's it.
