I didn’t expect Sneasler to be such a hard carry on my team when I finally evolved Sneasel. I’ve always enjoyed Weavile so I decided to give Sneasler a chance and she didn’t disappoint.

I really didn't like sneasler when it leaked but seeing it ingame totally changed my mind, it's definitely on par with weavile for me and weavile is in my top ten I hope to shiny hunt hisuian sneasel later

I got REALLY lucky; the first Sneasel I caught dropped a razor claw. Haven't had that same luck when it comes to getting more, but at least the Icelands has a great farming spot for Sneasel near the second camp

I actually caught a weavile in a distortion early on in my playthrough. So you don't have to evolve sneasle if you're just going for pokedex completion.

I've gotten a lot of mileage out of that stun technique in distortions too. While I noticed it prevents anything else from joining the battle, I also think-anecdotally-that the first ball you throw while it's stunned may have a quick-ball like effect.

not all I found a shiny geodude mid balloon thing with wrydeer and couldn't throw pokeballs so I hopped out and it tp'd me back to start the balloon thing and the geodude was gone

When I first heard both forms of Sneasel evolved the same way, I was confused. The distinction of time of day definitely clears that up.

So, I got a voltorb mass outbreak this morning and did some testing. I reset until I got a shiny, caught it and then saved. There were 6 voltorb left in the outbreak. I then continued resetting the outbreak. Checking if 1) the number of pokemon remaining resets (it doesn't) and 2) if the stats continued to be resolved (they did). So, I reset until I got an alpha voltorb and caught it. Then continued resetting. Ultimately, I caught 2 shiny voltorb and 2 alpha voltorb from the same mass outbreak. I also found that if you get below the 4 initial spawns, the game has a minimum 4 spawns that can occur when you first approach a mass outbreak. I did get to a point where everything I tried resetting g the outbreak it would disappear when I approached it. Not sure if that was a product of the outbreak having too many pokemon caught from it or what.

Regular Sneasel does have a very slim chance to spawn during a time distortion because it's technically like a sneasel outbreak with the high spawn ratio. I managed to land one and was so hyped!

I get that some people dont like Sneasler, but it did grow on me while using an Alpha Sneasler which ended up being an MVP to my team during the end game. I even gotten 2 Shiny Sneasels, one of which I evolved into a Sneasler. Love to use Dire Claw as the chance to 3 types of Ailment (Poison Paralysis, and drowsiness) can really change how the battle goes, 2 of which could cancel the opponent's turn which would open them to more damage from Sneasler from a Close Combat, Shadow Claw, or X Scissors.

If you noticed, the clouds above you were causing that color variation. Look at the ground while re-watching the last part of the video.

my first ever space time distortion gave me an alpha weavile, and it was surprising cause I was looking for a sneasel but I randomly found a weavile. it took me 20+ pokeballs and it's not surprising.

Was just casually watching this about to evolve my sneazel as well as other mount pokemons while collecting satchels when i came across a shiney H-sneazel. Poor basic sneazel got replaced much faster then the riolu when i founfd alpha luciro who kept getting one shot before getting a turn. Lol. Im such a great parent to my children.

There is an fixed Alpha Sneazal in the nest zone, just incase someone want one. You don’t need to farm for an Alpha Sneazel in this zone. (But you still could of course)

I have an interesting thought for you, does upgrading the pokemon in the farm to like higher levels, alphas, or even shinies, do anything with the yield or speed of the farm? Haven't heard anyone or thing talking about it so it would probably be a handy guide. If not, I don't see any reason to change em out. Just a thought.

No those are determined by how many pokemon you catch. If you catch 20, you get the mint harvest complete. For the others it is less

The way I shiny hunt which seems to be decent is rezoning back and forth from a camp to village and outbreaks randomly happen and if its a pokemon I want ill go after it then keep checking the outbreak zone then back go village (No need for battle or encounter.)Keep doing that until the pokemon outbreak is gone and/or I get the shiny. Got a decent amount of shinies from this. Also, dropping a manual save when seeing the shiny helps lol Still figuring things out. Thanks for the idea.

I actually found and caught regular Sneasel and Weavile in the Obsidian Fieldlands distortion long before I found a Hisuian Sneasel... Also found a shiny Hisuian Sneasel during an outbreak (thought for a second that regular Sneasel could spawn in outbreaks).
