My preference is lynel hoofs attached to arrows. Using a 5 shot bow it should only take 1 shot, using a 3 shot bow takes 2. Doing the coliseum/random lynels you should have plenty stored up.

They require about three shots on a 3 shot bow but helps if you are running low on hoofs or need the hoofs for something else but I dont think you need the hoofs for fairy upgrades

I’m early in the game and wanted some bomb flowers. So I got my sensor+ and had it detect bomb flowers in the Depths. I got about 40-50 before I called it quits. But once I get majoras mask (not exactly sure how to get it yet, I’ll look it up later), I’ll try to farm it this way!

@@shadowoflugia it’s at the floating coliseum in the depths. It’s under the coliseum on the surface and you have to beat 5 back to back lynels of increasing difficulty to get it. It’s really easy to beat if you have a 1 durability royal guards claymore with something strong fused to it since being on a Lynel’s back doesn’t use durability but you get quadruple base damage.

Loved this video! I tried the method myself and it's great. I found an easier way to grab the fruit out of the Bokoblin's hand, you can stand infront of it and grab the fruit without risk of emptying the basket since you can't grab basket fruit unless you're behind the Bokoblin. I struggled with lining myself up properly using the method in the video so I wanted to share this with others incase someone has a similar issue. Edit: After more testing, I've found out that this method wasn't consistent when I tested the other fruits so if you decide to use this method then be sure to position yourself carefully.

Honestly, it's way beyond what I would expect for the subject matter. I work in UX and Analytics (CRO) to be exact and I don't even see this type of detail and polish from professionals presenting to CEOs. If the dude ever gets bored of doing YT content for video games (I doubt it since that's the dream haha) I could show his videos to some high level executives and they would make him an offer right away (again no reason he should be interested since I bet he makes way more than anything I could get him and he gets to be his own boss). I really wonder if he has professional experience from somewhere else before yt that helped him hone his skills or if this is just something he developed on his own on the platform.

Blood moon only doesn't respawn enemies in your vicinity when you are actively in combat with a member of that group of mobs. Since you yourself are not in combat, they will respawn.

For blood moon I’ve heard you can go down to the depths, wait until it’s midnight and go back. It’ll prevent the blood moon for a single day. It also works with shrines too.

yep, the good ol "Shrine stall" trick from BotW is back, but i think the Depths can still have 'panic BloodMoons', so as long as youre not doing anything too laggy (like Multi-Shot Arrows with Opals or something) it should be fine...

Yeah from what I've seen in my own gameplay the depths don't get the blood moons for whatever reason, i spent hours down there just chaining up getting light roots in line of sight and was real confused why i hadn't had a blood moon in a long while 😅

@@raiknightshade3442 i mean it makes sense to me-- places that have No Visible Moon (as in, Inside a Shrine, or below in the Depths) shouldnt have Blood Moons, because then itd just be "Blood Air" or something... ...but ive still seen people "force" one, in the Depths, by basically making way too much lag...it mightve been something that happened more often in 1.0 or 1.1, with 1.1.1 not giving me any signs of Panic (and 1.1.2 should Definitely have a better time NOT-BloodMooning)

I mean do you need to grind for these? They come in clusters of 3 all around the map and it's a trivial detour to grab them (unless you're hoverbiking but I'd consider that part of the tradeoff). I have a nest surplus in part because of rationing but equally due to how available elemental sources are via gemmed rods.

austin, can i just say that i like how you are aware of the volume levels in the youtube videos. i'm in the 50% of my volume scale and your voice is still clear. the best part? when an ad shows, i don't have to readjust my loudspeaker volume. some youtubers, have their video volume set up way high when rendering their videos. i feel like they don't double check their final volume on a loudspeaker and may have been editing thru their headphones. i feel like there should be a standard volume in youtube so that when an ad shows, it's not like a jumpscare sound lmao

Very neat little trick I found a Fire basket one around mabe village ruins and it seemed like a place with ideal conditions for setting up and it worked like a charm! I definitely need to attempt the tricky bomb one though I can never have too many bombs tbh

Fantastic tutorial! I’d love to see you come up with an optimized egg farm. Caging some cuccos and firing a laser at them isn’t hard, but so far I haven’t seen a good way to collect eggs (or cook them automatically) without lots of manual intervention.

This is amazing ❤❤❤ Took me a few to figure out the order correctly. One thing to remember is that sometimes the Bogoblins don’t recognise the mask. So try removing and saving, then putting the mask back on again. I loved the double fire fruit and bombs one the most. 😊

This was super helpful! For some reason my majoras mask didn't fool them at all, and reloading didn't reset their aggression. The boboklin mask, and walking out of range worked. Super helpful tip!

As a tip for those having trouble grabbing the one from the bokoblin's hand only, it can be easier to take all but one of the items in the basket first. At least, that's made it easier for me to take only the one from his hand and the basket only needs one minimum.

If you haven't made one already, can you discuss the usage and uses of Water in the game. I have been trying to come up with ways to use the various objects that shot or are Water Elemental in the game, but I still often feel like I can't scratch the surface without understanding the properties. I use Opal for damage and shoving especially over water or high surface, but it always hurts to use up-close. I have been trying to use Electric immediately after Opal, but that doesn't seem to work with Splashfruit or Zonai Hydrant Arrows. Water without Electricity seems good for knock back if nothing else. I am also shocked people don't seem to know Zonai Devices on Arrows are ALSO elemental and have properties that no one seems to discuss. Rocket Arrows have the best range in the game bar-none. Emitter-Arrows are their same element, but with more damage. Cannon Arrows are bomb Arrows, Time Bomb Arrows are Bomb Arrows on a delay and can activate other Zonai and can deal damage from the impact first without going off. Wing is distance but also have this spread AOE going on. I need to see if Light is the same as Dazzlefruit for killing Stals. Stake Arrows are just big damage. I don't have Homing Carts, but I imagine they are also tracking arrows. There's a lot of experimentation for Zonai Arrows.

I am in love with the 5 shot demon king bow with max hearts. I mostly use gibdo bones and elemental eye arrow fusions and it destroys everything. I love it.

I have it too but the spread makes all of my arrows fly sideways, completely missing my target, unlike the normal 5 shot lynel bow which centers all arrows. I usually use fire keese eyeballs since they deal the most eyeball damage and two shot every stone talus. I tried shooting Hinox and other enemies point blank with silver lynel saber horns with 55 additional damage per arrow but those also end up taking two hits for some reason. Btw Gibdo bones don't get a boost from the bone proficiency armour sets

tldr most fuzes add 25 durability and once the 25 is used you cannot Fuze it to something else to get it back say you have a 60 durability gerudo scimitar, and you Fuze a 25 durability silver lynel horn. (85 durability) say you swing 50 times, (at enemies only, using zonai devices doesnt count towards using your weapon) leaving you with 35 durability. If you destroy the lynel horn and attach a molduga jaw, you still have 35 because you used the added 25 durability first (it takes priority over weapon durability)

Got half way between steeling 999 bomb flowers by the Regencia River and BAM! A blood moon hits! My little bob friend kept throwing bombs but all the monsters regenerated and I had to bail out and rekill all the others again. Here’s the funny part. I was using arrows from the top of the peak and my Bob friend actually came up to the top where I was and just watched me taking out the other monsters. When I was done with them, he followed me back down and stood by while I reset the device and then was able to finish collecting the 999.

thanks for this very helpful glitch, especially with the bombs as navigating through the caves to find those stupid bubbul frogs to doing frox hunting and obtaining the frog medal... I don't need to worry much about the fire, ice or electric frute much thanks to "that cave" and maxing out the armor upgrade, plus trying to duplicate bombs only lead to disaster...the other good news is that I maxed out my battery so I can farm for a very long time and I also have plenty of zoni chargers thanks to the cave as well

Another tip is that only press 'A' to grab the fruits when the name of the fruit shows up on your screen to avoid grabbing those inside the basket. Also, you might want to do this right after a bloodmoon.

Wow, that works. A trick I have found to defeat the silver lynels easily is to use the Ocarina of Time Amiibo to spawn about 12 or so chests (leave weapons inside) and you have to fuse them each time you spawn one (otherwise they will disappear). Fuse together about 10 or 12, I think I have done more. Then you carry that to the lynel area and the lynel will never cross the line of chests. So you can use this to block the charge attacks. I just hop back and forth as he runs around it. He will attack the chests but so far in several usages, he has never destroyed the chests.

If you find a chuchu jelly bokoblin, you can put a frost/fire/shock emitter on top of the cart aimed at the bokoblin and it'll transform the chuchu jelly and drop it safely to the ground. Then you can pickup the pile occasionally instead of using a macro/turbo button. When you almost run out of energy, just attach a battery to the device and it'll give you time for your bar to recharge. Are there any locations with more than one chuchu jelly bokoblins? Could easily farm 2 or more like this.

Pro tip, if you don’t have a turbo controller, remap your controller to make the A input something easier to press like the shoulder buttons to not wear out your thumbs, you can do it in settings, but I’m not sure where.

Austin you can put a spring(or anything that has a height and easy to stand on) behind him/her and stand on the spring, this way you can just smash A when the fruit is on his/her(not assume the gender here) hand at the highest point and won't in reach for his/her backpack.

Thanks for the video! How do you set the hori split pad pro(Turbo Controller) to automatically click A, as you said in the video? I have one but don't know how to use the back buttons, to turn it on, and to deactivate it. Thanks! Keep up the great videos!

the turbo button at the bottom, hold that and tap A once for PRESS-TURBO, do it again for AUTO-TURBO

I'll add on that for the back paddles/buttons, you hold down the 'assign' button (next to the turbo button on the front of each side) and then click the button you want to assign the back to. Then hold 'assign' and press the back paddle to unassign it, or another button to change it. Keep in mind that the left and right side can only assign buttons from THAT SIDE to the back paddles. For example, ABXY can only be assigned to the right back paddle. Also the +, -, HOME and screenshot buttons cannot be assigned to the back paddles. Only A, B, X, Y, L, R, ZL, ZR, the four Dpad directions and both stick 'clicks'. Hope this helps!

I also highly recommend the HORI SplitPads for anyone still duping using the glider/surf method. Putting Y on the back paddle makes it easier to hit Y+B consistently, and turbo A helps with quickly catching duped bugs/lizards/fairies.
