It wasn't about the fame. His first girlfriend cheated on him and she was also involved in the part with his contracts. It was a bad breakup so he just let it go. Loyalty over interest. Remember he covered the song it's not about the money. Besides the fame wasn't mean to last. By that I mean if he kept going down the same path he would self destruct even worse. He would make music that wasn't genuine, outgoing and because of his first girlfriend that cheated on him he had already lost his soul. He wasn't going to let her and the conglomerate wringe him dry. He would rather just walk away into the distance and fade into obscurity. It was good while it lasted. Still, the people he did have reciprocated instances with while he was still soulful will still be there. Since there is not much longer any motivation to make music, he just stopped creating it since the would've just kept on preluding to robbing his work. That makes us different or changes us. We don't have the desire even though we still have the passion. This is quite very intricate. They took his want to keep working on his song molding craft. That is what made it go. Besides his first girlfriend wouldn't confess to what she had done and just put the blame on him. Causing media backlash. Austin, wasn't a part of the conglomerate. He just spoke to people that were. His first girlfriend was one of them. It was a long distance relationship. She led him on that she loved him until she cheated on him. Alas. One song I'm sure he sang after he lost his soul to his first girlfriend is his cover of someone like you. If you wanna take a gander at it. You can tell the situation stated basically is what it is alluding to. It isn't proof, but you get what I'm saying. Don't always blame the artists, blame the circumstances. Also they paid him bread crumbs. It wasn't enough to make a sustainable living. Where was the inspiration supposed to manifest itself from if the people he had attempted to tell were betraying him by stabbing him in the back and delaying his future endeavors. Talk about smoke and mirrors. So Austin got played, but he's also singing about the perspective. That's a state of mind. It doesn't really leave you once you notice it. Seeing and not just reading between the lines and that is reflected in all forms of his life. Once tainted you see the world from a cynical, negative, bittersweet perspective. It makes you better and more aware at making decisions but how would that help if you can't comfortably adhere to those decisions. Cunning but left. That describes the story of Austin Mahone.
