Good one . I was in Australia 50 years ago and londons population was nearly as large as Australia's total population. China could have landed its army in the centre of Australia and they would never ever been aware . Sydney was great city even then . I actually went across the great western desert to Alice Springs and finally to Darwin. I hope to take my wife to Darwin in the near future.

Yes indeed. Australia was an amazing place back then and is still great to visit. I will be travelling on the Indian Pacific from Sydney to Perth in 2023 and hope to visit Darwin again with a journey on the Ghan, although that's not been booked yet. Hope you and your wife make it there. Regards, Wendy

@@HavePension-WillTravel Thank you , one quick question is Australia in your opinion expensive? I want to also take her to Alice Springs. Bali and Malaysia is always on our travel plan . These locations are not expensive. Take care . Our home is in Alberta Canada. Very cold winters.

@@rascalhusky8129 Australia is more expensive than Bali, in fact it's probably a bit more expensive than Canada. (Check this comparison website: www.numbeo.com/cost-of-living/compare_countries_result.jsp?country1=Australia&country2=Canada) I've got a friend in Toronto who sends winter memes of Canadians and snow. I love them!
