Australia Awards Women Leading and Influencing (WLI) | Leadership Fund
Between July and December 2020 more than 50 WLI participants and alumni joined forces to respond to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Pacific through the Leadership Fund.
Through the Veinanumi Project, Maria-Goreti Muavesi, Sugandha Goswami, Lilian Mausio, Laisani Macedru and Vasiti Soko worked with local partners to supply families with items needed to stay healthy during COVID-19 - including sanitary products, planting seeds and mental health support.
