If the number of students migrating to Australia increases annually while the number of Permanent Residencies (PRs) granted remains constant, it is evidently becoming increasingly difficult to obtain PR. Previously, with 500,000 students arriving in Australia, 190,000 were granted PR and 310,000 were not. Currently, if 750,000 students arrive, still only 190,000 will receive PR, leaving 560,000 without. Furthermore, many students who arrived earlier possess higher points, further diminishing the chances for newer students to secure PR.

Let's be honest, champ! Your audience, for the most part, is not prospective students willing pay huge sums of money to secure a superior education in Australia. They want working rights & permanent residency! And Australians really hate this dishonest trade! Have you explained that to them. Have you explained that the VAST majority of Australians believe Australia's population large enough? Have you explain the enormous housing/rental crisis we have and that this has been caused by massive student numbers -- and that there is much resentment towards it. Time, we think, for Indians to educate themselves at home and to make a difference at home and to be less focused on running away!
