When you say you were at 1500 at 100kmph does that mean you were cruising off boost? How does it work with your engine tune? Fuely at that 1500? Being that the converter locks up quick i assume that your turbo would not be at its efficiency at 1500rpm? Love the rig 👌

Seemed fine mate, in 8th gear ur cruising U wanna boot it u drop 2 gears and straight on boost Not I have the 4.88 gears in it sits at 1800rpm

I’ve got a 4 speed auto in my sr5 hilux and I love it. Rock solid and never feels sluggish but it’s no 8 speed. Lol. Makes me want a 79 series with one of those. I’m assuming a 79 series comes in an auto but not an 8 speed.

boss has a 79 workmate with near 200 thousand kms ,its been abused it drives like a piece of shit wouldnt pull the skin off a rice pudding AND he sold it for 15 thousand less than what he paid for it new ,i mean like what the hell is all that about ,fella pull themselves senseless over these 4 wheel drives and the depreciation is stuff all ,you could go on forever about the extras you dont get ,the track being different to accomodate that big thirsty slug up front ,no AC no nothing but they COMMAND huge bucks ,he told me to buy one way back when but fkn no i bought a damm Ranger ,this beast you fellas have created should be whats selling off the showroom floors ,Toyota need to see this,OUTSTANDING
