@@jeetgargari6275 Starc has not returned to his “old action” his action has continued to evolve and he has added the wobble ball. Australia still had strong depth when we played India. We still had James Pattinson, Jhye Richardson, Boland and Neser all fit and in good form available to play. We chose not to play them and by the end of the series we were tired because Pujara had made them bowl too many balls. Pujara never gets enough praise for how long he made us stay out in the field and bowl.

cummins is just the perfect fast bowler. he has hadlee like craft, mcgraft like accuracy can swing a ball both ways at 150km (but its usually at 140ish) and can just bowl all day and is at you every spell. hasnt got a bad spell in him. such a pleasure to watch this attack with starc bowling unplayable deliveries, and boland perfect seam position and a perfect length often the most dangerous looking bowler, will be a nightmare in england. and hazlewood bowling magnificent too. with green and the goat id almost say this attack is on the same level as the australian attack 20 years ago. just have to conquer india which is the toughest place for us to win

he is brilliant, but i don't think they are on the same level as 20 years ago. Lyon is a good bowler but definitely cannot compare him to Warne. Mcgrath troubled batsmen throughout his career and had a better later half than hist first half! He was not just accurate line and length but had an uncanny sense of where to bowl to trouble batsmen on any pitch with some excellent wicket taking deliveries (bouncer, in seam etc).

People talk about pace and I am astonished that they don't include Starc anymore. Its just that he doesn't want to bowl that quick anymore to increase his endurance, but still somehow manages to click 140-148 Km/h consistently without his full intensity. I have seen him increase his pace suddenly by 8-9 Ks when he's frustrated at batsmen. He's for sure one of the few classic pacers left in today's cricket.
