Reinforces the importance of the slow burn. Fighting fire 🔥 with fire and controlling fire and burning off , which is done preceding the fire season . They are land management principles, so somewhere along the line, Parks have neglected implementation of those practices.

Yes as practiced in Australia for thousands of years. Powers that be can't seem to wrap their heads around the concept though.

oh I concur . There is incredible division and bureaucratic buck passing and misguided and time thieving amongst the various authorities. CFA handballs it Parks and Parks handballs it back to CFA and the Federal, State and local government arbitration swirling around it also , and also , and also , the real estate agents, brokers auctioneers and "tourism tourism tourism" moguls who sell sell sell to people desiring of the escape to country dream selling a lifestyle , to buyers that want the house and land , but neglectful towards understanding what their rights and responsibilities are with which comes with their "acres" and not even present either love as they flick between their multiple properties between city and country and the thistles grow, the stinging nettles grow and the underbrush and debris grows , and they have their masters degree in marketing , advertising and promotion and sales right ? But completely clueless about the hands on, the time management, the seasons , climate and environmental sciences and 🤔🤔 well if I could think of an analogy ; it is like a collector of guitars who proudly shows off their collection of Gibson, Maton and Cole Clarke's in their home theatre "studio" BUT can't play them . 😂😁 Right ? So there is no way love, there is no way , that I am going to let anyone sing the praises to me about what a good person such and such is, and how successful they are due to how much property they have sold , and bought , when, like you pointed out , something that has been done by people who have practiced it for thousands of years ; are being 🤔🤔 muted and misappropriated by those who 🤔 well, it's that classic thing of having more money than class . Or intelligence. Isn't it ? I do look out for stayers , you know , for a reason .

They refuse to meet fuel reduction targets set by the black Saturday royal commission because of green madness.

Australian fires burn thousands of Singapore sized area's on a yearly basis. This is part of the natural order. The problem is lack of land management in sensitive areas.

Fire is neccessary for some of Australias native trees etc to rejuvenate however mankind has selfishly torn down most of the bush so where can animals go when the national park burns to the ground? Secondly human infrastructure such as fences make it impossible for animals to flee the fire, sometimes getting tangled on the fences. Sadly all I keep hearing from Australian news is about their fear of loosing houses, sheds and money! Those things can be replaced but the animals can not.
