It is important to play out 1.5 sessions and after that if safe, can attempt a win. The ideal batting order will be Jaiswal, KL, Washington, Virat, Jadeja, Pant, Rohit, Reddy. Washington and Jadeja in top 5 because they can play long innings. If you see the way Washington plays, he is comfortable playing 150 balls which means more than an entire session.

If India needs to win the scenario should be like this anyhow assume tommorrow india will chase around 350 and they will have around 80-83 overs most lkely so India should patiently start the innings and for the first 25 overs they should make sure that they are not loosing a single wicket if India can do that and if they grind the newball in 25 overs without losing any wicket and anyhow if they play slowly in the first 25 overs they will get easily 60-65 runs. so now 350-65 = 285 and remaining overs are 83-25 = 58 so from this India should play like ODI. But these are very rare case and the pitch in Day 5 in melbourne history doesn't allow it most likely so India will most likely play for a draw. But if they do this approach what i described here India will surely win the game and will made a history at melbourne.
