@@wuper2270 Looooser whuppet clutching at straws again! Denying reality that wind and solar can’t and won’t cut it for powering a whole country. The truth hits you in the face and you’re too dumb to see it. You’ve lost wuppert. Intermittent renewables are done. Nuclear is Coming whuppert…. Can you feel it? 😂 you can’t stop it and it’s cutting you up. It so embarrassing: we can smell your desperation. 😂

Australia needs to prioritise cheap electricity to revive manufacturing, including automotive production by brands like Ford and Holden, to mitigate potential economic downturns and unemployment, particularly among migrants reliant on service industries.

Graham Lloyd, with insight keen, Reports on nature’s changing scene. In windswept fields where turbines stand, A curious fate takes hold the land. Electricity from wind’s embrace, Has fallen to a lowly place. Not since 2017’s grace, Has output been so small, a trace. “A wind drought,” Lloyd’s words convey, “Has seized the breezes’ lively sway. The turbines spin with lesser might, As currents falter in their flight.” To Peta Credlin, he confides, In gusty airs, where power hides. “Wind electricity,” he sighed, “Just won’t be produced far and wide.” The sweeping arms, once bold and grand, Now stand still across the land. A lull in nature’s breath, we see, A challenge for green energy. The promise of the winds we chase, Now whispers of a slower pace. In quest for power, clean and free, We face the whims of sky and sea. Yet hope remains in future’s hand, For changing winds across the land. The cycles of the earth will turn, And once again, the breezes yearn. For nature’s dance is vast and wide, With ebbs and flows like ocean’s tide. In patience, we must place our trust, For winds will rise from settled dust. And so, with watchful eyes, we wait, For breezes to rejuvenate. In fields where turbines wait in line, The wind will once again align. OddBall

BUT BUTTTTT ,,, I thought it was common knowledge that in general wind blows in the mid seasons ,, Spring and Autumn ,, the seasons warm enough not to need a heater and cool enough not to need air-con :)

@graemekeeley4497 0 seconds ago The lights are already going out due to the month-to-date 2024 being a Natural Period of "Wind Drought" expected to continue In 2024, Australia saw an extended so-called wind energy “drought” - the second in as many months. Autumn is “traditionally” the season with the lowest wind outputs, but the lull this year has been extraordinary and pushed the combined output of renewables below its lowest output recorded Australia-wide wide to date in 2024 the share of variable renewable energy (VRE, or solar and wind), has fallen below last year’s levels.
