I remember visiting the Barrier reef back in the 90s from Port Douglas on Quicksilver… Have been back twice since out of Cairns, never gets old.

I totally get the panic when you first start to snorkel again. I did it for the first time a couple of weeks ago in the Caribbean and it definitely took me a few minutes to feel comfortable doing it. Benji, very surprised, seeing you have been to Australia before, that you didn't remember to get the quintessential Aussie staple of zinc cream to cover your nose from the sun. It comes in many colours now, so you could have matched it to your outfits. Loving the vlog, brought back memories of when hubby and I did the exact same Quicksilver tour to the Great barrier reef from Port Douglas in Jan 2001 !!! We were staying in Sydney for a month and booked a long weekend to Cairns.... we also did a hot air balloon ride followed by the Kuranda sky rail.. wow, thank you . Congrats on your wedding, may you have many more adventures together , ours are closer to home now 😆. 45 years married for us.

My wife and I visited Cairns about 10 years ago and took the railway to Kuranda, visited the butterfly sanctuary and rode down on the SkyRail.
