Australia for a while now has been playing great soccer the last few years but the problem has been conditioning. they always started strong and even scared the US in WC but couldn't sustain it and faded away as the match went on. now they look real fit and it shows

Australia was probably the best darkhorse contender in the 2015 World Cup. They got better in the 2016 Olympics, nearly beating Germany, the gold medal winner. Then they had grueling quarter-final match against Brazil, the host nation, which was probably the best match of the tournament. And here they are, in 2017, looking like a juggernaut. I can't wait to see where they're at in 2019. No doubt about it, they're a title contender.

Congratulation Australia , no doubt about their currently improvement and hunger for the win. They seem playing very closely alike team Canada now. For Brazil , we can see without Martha , they did not know how to patient and control their tempo after giving up two goals and they were not clearing their minds very quick and forgot to focus on their game plan. Seems like they were very tired too.. Australia team players are very fit and strong in physical recently. In years, I am sure they will win a world cup and/or Olympic Gold if they continue this way.. Cheer Auzie !!!

Wow. This tournament was really entertaining; every team came out to play attacking football rather than stick 8 women behind the ball. FIFA should take note and introduce a 12-team women's Confederations Cup. It should replace the men's corresponding event, to be held in June. The participating teams would be the six continental champions, the host nation, WC winners, and the continental runners-up from Europe, Africa, North America and Asia.
