Hey man do you know what hand to hand weapons were carried by officers(regular infantry) of the British Army in the Far East. love your vids

I'm not entirley sure as I focus on the Australian Army however I'd assume it wouldn't be too different. I believe officers carried the Webley MK VI Revolver as that was the standard issue side arm of the time. I believe that was the only real weapon they had unless they had picked one up for themselves along the way. You may have seen some cases of them wearing the standard infantry equipment but as far as I know that's unlikely. Hope this helps mate!

G'day mate, British Army cadets are way better then Aus. don't particularly want to specify my exact rank but I'm a senior NCO.

@@AIFReenacter G’day, I would’ve figured, it was implemented first in England. It was England’s idea to first implement military aspects into schools for military prep. Things tend to be better in countries they originate in no? Anyway my current rank is cadet, I’ve been a cadet for about a year and a couple of months so I’ll be up for promotion by Christmas.
