my student visa expires on 10 Mar 2020, today just wanna to get prepare for extend my visa (just finished my degree). however, wonder it need to have the ielts exam. I will going to test on early Feb.. It need 7 days to get the result, after that I will submit the visa applicaton. In this case, does it mean my visa will be auto moving to bridging visa A until immigration have offical discussion on my application, right? Any other action i need to take or document for submittion.? If i want go travel during this period, i need to apply bridging visa B, am i correct? Looking for your reply, thanks

What if you have an existing ETA 601 approved earlier this year, and have applied and waiting for a 301, Looking to enter Australia on the 601. I'm assuming the bridging Visa A is not auto applied? Do you still need to Apply for A? to get the B? How do you apply for it? (doesn't look to be available in the immi account)

Hi, you may be able to apply for a BVE. But you would be better to apply for a visitor visa extension before the visa expires. That way you are always lawful in Aus

Hi, the bridging visa will come into effect once the visitor visa will expires (usually 90 days).

There she applied study visa but got refuse, so she lodge her file at AAT, so now she is on bridging visa A. I would always be careful applying for work rights when you have applied for a student visa. When you submit a student visa you state you have sufficient finances to cover your expenses in Aus

My 489 visa was cancelled And then i lodged an appeal in AAT and i got BVE 050 with unlimited work rights. Last month AAT affirmed the decision and then i lodged my file in FCC for judicial review and Last Friday I got BVE 050 with no work rights and i have also applied for work rights using form 1005 and provided them financial hardship details. In my statement i have also mention that I am working in Abbotair as an essential worker for last 2.5 years. Do you think will they grant me work rights? Thanks i am too much stressed
